I said it before Ani does not soften when he is upset; he wants to strike back and make J more upset. You can say his emotions are out of control. But if he really cared for J and did not just want her, he would not act this way, esp if he thinks it will hurt her. If he did not think she cares he would not do it. So he knows. After knowing her feelings if he still married Arshi and is doing all this PDa and sleeping in the same bed as Arshi, he is a big red flag. He has never seen J do anything bad to anyone, yet he listens to what folks say abt J and distrusts her.

See how he is with Arshi - he is always agreeable with her and treats her with respect. For all purposes it seems like he loves Arshi and is attracted to J. Love wants to give and cherish, not hurt and taunt.
