Yes, practically there is nothing left in the show to watch anymore. Its completely destroyed and beyond repair now.

Not expecting anything from the leap either, it may become worst with the new male lead. Looks like the same misunderstanding and hatred drama may continue, and this time from both sides.

I think, the makers have only one option from here if at all they want to make anything better from here.

They should make Adi the regret and help Kavya in silent without any expectations and even without her knowledge. And eventually, he may sacrifice his life for her and end his role.

It doesn't matter, whether they show Kavya's solo journey or she falls in love again with someone. But, getting AdYa back by clearing misunderstanding may be another mistake by the makers again. Because, they cannot write anything better than creating misunderstanding and separating them again after that. So better they end Adi's role by killing him.

I feel they should end the story and start a new story with season 2

Any new story/season 2/leap, will not stop viewers from recalling Adi's mistakes or forget about it. They will never accept the character once again. The viewers must connect to Adi again emotionally and Kavya must fall for Adi again. There seems to be no other option.

The only possible way could be, Kavya continues to hate Adi and Adi continues to help her to get back her job, position, status..everything she lost (of course without Kavya knowing that he is helping her) and then eventually Kavya falls for him again.

But, it looks like the new lead will do exactly the same as this, help her to move on in her life and eventually Kavya will fall for him. It seems like its a positive role, then there is no role left for Adi in Kavya's life.

So, either they have to make the new lead negative and Adi the savior again OR make Adi help Kavya in whatever way and eventually sacrifice his life for her. It may be a tragic ending for Adi's character, but looks like there is no way. If Kavya falls for the new lead, then they can not justify all the mess they created with Adi's character. And the viewers will always compare the new lead to be a better choice for Kavya than Adi, owing to his previous mistakes. So killing him would be only option left or he stays alone in the end.
