That may be true too......as Babita still wanted Karisma to work and mint money......and Jaya bachchan didn't want someone like Karisma.....dancing and gyrating on songs like khatiya.....

Khatiya was a very heavily criticized song at that time......maybe now it wouldn't be but was a big deal at that time which made Bachachan's to not want Karisma as their daughter-in-law....

Well....the song and dance are both cringeworthy....
