No I said he will โฆno ? If jhanak accepted him to there was no questionโฆ but he didnโt wait for her response , didnโt press her for response.. that is because he is assuming the response is no.. where it is throwing off people is he is marrying someone he doesnโt love ! You said I love you to someone but you still want to marry someone else ? And in that sense it comes across as he would have gone with arshi regardless! And his PDA with arshi is only solidifying that thought l. Writers have done poor job there. He didnโt want jhanak to sign papers so that means he wanted to be in that marriage ! But itโs also true he doesnโt have courage to give up everything , go against everything regardless of jhanak response. He is wanting to hurt himself just to keep a commitment! Itโs coming across as conditional love!
