There was a disonnect or a jump. J just yesterday said that she is not sure if she is coming to Bose house or not. What made her come to Kolkata after saying so? There should hv been some additions explaining it.

Conditional love versus unconditional love- Ani's parents love him. We could see his mom's pain when Ani was injured. Arshi also loves Ani. However, their love for Ani is conditional. Ani is supposed to behave in certain way to avail their love. If he does not, he is punished, abandoned. Ani's father recently said about his own son has become a problem. They see at their children as way of getting higher social status. Ani always did things unconditionally for others and people used him due to that. After Choton, it was only J who did things unconditionally for Ani, sometimes endangering her own future. Ani's heart has picked that up. Hence, he said J would've understood on phone that he was sick.

Attraction between Ani and J existed since their first fall from the bicycle. However, strong romantic feelings are recent phenomena. Ani felt is strongly when they were stuck in rains. Now, in Kashmir, they both had the same dream. I hope the writer goes slow on progression on their proximity. Ani and J understand each other not through conversation, but through the battles they fight for each other. Ani truly believed J loves Rahul. He fought with himself to get J married to Rahul. It is only after that he came to know the true feelings of J towards Rahul. Hence, their should be many more battles that they need to fight before they accept each other as husband and wife in every sense.

Having feelings for each other is one thing and accepting each other socially is much more difficult task. Many who love, do not love enough to break the social barriers. Ani and J both need to fight many moral dilemmas and social barriers to be able to confess their true feelings for each other. Arshi is not a right life partner for Ani as she is selfish whereas Ani is selfless. However, after the marriage getting fixed, would it be morally right to break the alliance. Except few, hardly anyone wants J to be in Bose house. How correct it would be go against so many, specially Ani's parents?

During confession, Ani expressed his thoughts on the marriage. He feels responsible for J due to marriage. Hence, when J said she is ready to nullify the marriage, she also wants to set Ani free from it and move on with Arshi.

Promo- As said before, Ani has blurred the demarcation between morally right and morally wrong. What J said was a wake up call for him. His actions will be giving the status of a keep to J. If he truly loves J, either he should accept her as a wife socially, or should let her go. This in between of him is almost going to kill J from within
