Can not be 'easily broken'. Many have tried.

But I would really like to discuss that what do you think what is the reason for people's obsession with Gentleman? Why there is so much hype and buzz around it on all the platforms?

I think 4 episodes is too soon to pass a verdict on whether a show is a success or failure. However, because of the way they marketed this show as a mega drama and unmatched chemistry, the show seems to be underperforming. It should at least have broken channel records like KP and more views than shows like Akhara with such an ensemble cast. I did try it for 2 episodes but was disappointed. It seems very Bollywood-inspired and just another love triangle/square with a parody of gangsters instead of a proper crime-thriller which I was expecting. However, many shows do pick up midway and some towards the end so who knows, it might click with the masses too.

Also comparing it to all the other critical dramas with actually better content that didn't get high views or ratings is just giving excuses for it not doing well, since none of those dramas were this much overpromoted or a comeback project of two of the biggest stars in ptv.

It came out last year only. Tere Bin broke record of some drama which was considered biggest hit, records are meant to be broken.

None is obsessed with gentleman, it is a drama and people are discussing it that's normal. It had biggest promotional campaign for a drama, OST was by Atif Aslam, screening was in a movie theatre
