Yes, he just surpassed every viewer's expectations and I think, he should be proud of himself for that scene. That was indeed a top class performance.

Correct, the ending of SH case looked completely illogical. They never showed Naina's BF was punished, not even brought to the court by the police and Sanjeev. In fact, Sanjeev and Naina's father came back to court, which means they left him.

The case was closed without even seeing/hearing the culprit. That looked completely weird in the end.

It was quite evident that Amma will not be exposed in the court and she had to be exposed in front of all in the family. Most importantly she had to accept herself all what she did.

This was already mentioned by Kavya before, there was no other way everyone would trust Amma's involvement.
