I watched it for a while. It was good but was too slow. The leads had great chemistry, cinematography was great but later I think Kumud's sister also fell for Saras? I had stopped watching by then so no idea how it all ended.

Yes, then she realised her fault & accepted Danny( brother of Saras)

You got bored from which point of show
I have seen some episodes of this show years ago and I thought the male lead actor was good and supporting leading actress was better than leading female. I remember the supporting lead actress wanted the lead actor but he was not in love with her and was in love with jennifer's character. I need to watch the full show now. I'll add to my list.

Glad to know
that u r interested to watch the full show. I really loved the lead pair & their chemistry. Like I was obsessed with them.
For someone known for his love stories,SLB doesn't believe in developing them. This show,Ram leela, bajirao mastani, heeramandi all had love/attraction happening pretty quickly,if not from both sides at least from one side.
Gautam is a good actor, more natural than jennifer. When the show aired many people didn't like her performance as kumud but then after beyhadh people are like "no no she was brilliant as kumud too" she was good too at times but many other times she wasn't
Also discussing the storyline(spoilers ahead)
It's based on a novel which has the male protagonist helping the woman reform her abusive husband. This would have worked 5 decades ago but not now, even if the tv serial showed that eventually kumud decided to divorce pramad but initially it was shown like it was her responsibility to reform him,she seemed to believe it too.He would hurt her,she would put a bandaid and hide from his family what he did.Now I understand many women stay, might even want to reform their husband,it's not easy to leave but the thing is neither the narration nor the intent was such, they tried showing that kumud had courage and self respect for staying in that marriage and trying to reform her husband.Like they really tried spinning it which ended up making it more ridiculous.TV can be very regressive but even keeping in mind that it was weird.
(but this isn't on SLB as he had left the show before this, handing over the rights to another production company)

Ohh.. I had no idea that many people didn't like her performance as Kumud
Hmm, there are many scenes where Gautam overshadowed her. But I have to agree that Jen looked ethereal in the show..Bhansali presents his heroine in dreamy way

Well said. Show was good till Saras & Kumud's wedding. After that, they messed it up. Pramad track was well executed tho
