That’s my understanding for now.

No she isn't his mom because he says to her, 'koi bhi vapis nahi Ata, Maa bhi nahi aayi' and to this the girl says, 'Par Main toh aa gayi'.

It was either his step sister, if so then no clue why they gave her a ghostly look and feel 😂 (but this is the most possible scenario as of now)

Or another girl whose identity to the audience will be revealed later.

Yeah that line was confusing unless the writer means keh she didn’t come back for real but in this “form” instead smiley29

But yup you’re right. He could have lost a sister too. Also a possibility.

Best scene for me this week was the embarrassing engagement. Arsalan’s baisti was on point. Felt some kind of foreshadowing between him and the girl he rejected. Logically given how much tension his rishtas are causing in his house and friction between his two moms, he needs to peace out from BOTH rishtas, take a long break, and find some other girl down the line. Not like he’s hopelessly in love yet. But since it’s a drama, more dramatic decisions will ensue 🤣

Salaar was very much in the background again this week and I wasn’t that impressed with Sherry this week. That reveal scene when Emaan finds his photos kind of fell flat for me. She probably thinks he’s some low life creep crushing on her 😂 Hence the give and take talk with her dad when he was gushing about Salaar. Girl is not impressed lol. I was waiting for a scene between the two where salaar maybe tries to explain himself to her? But that never came which was a let down. I wanted to see how he would react and how she would react in a confrontation like that. But they completely dismissed it 🤷‍♀️

the relationship between the sisters is wholesome. And between emaan and her dad ❤️

I do think it’s a bit strange that in this story the dad found the worst family to get his eldest daughters married into and yet somehow Emaan has rishtas coming from the likes of rich good boy Zain and snarky Sameer who also is apparently good ? And rich too? Too convenient

Hoping next week refocuses the story back to Salaar and Emaan. I feel the first episode was still the strongest because it focused on these two.

If any guy secretly makes sketches of a girl then the girl is bound to think of him as a creep only 😂

I felt Sherry was good this week as well. I knew there was not going to be a heated conversation between the two. Emaan knows her father loves Salaar plus her alliance is getting fixed, for her Salaar isn't that important to create a scene & bother her father at the moment. We might get this conversation though in the coming episodes.

The father got the elder sister married into that family which was a mistake on his part and that's why he feels guilty for it and the elder daughter also keeps pointing it out to him. Maybe coz she was divorced, he couldn't find a great alliance for her..society doesn't prefer divorced girls till date for their sons.

Zain has already started liking Emaan and vice versa so he won't refuse her to please his mom.

I am so curious to know how Emaan will marry Salaar & how will she find out that he gets abused by his family! Looking forward to their story but I guess it would take another 4 - 5 episodes to shift focus to their story :(

I think the photo reveal happened when too much was happening already so it kind of got lost in there somewhere. It didn’t feel like a “significant” moment. Which is why I kept waiting for them to come back to it and for there to be some one on one scene between the two but it never came. Perhaps next week. So far the impact of that is lost in everything else for me. It needed to be done better. More than that I enjoyed the scene where she opens the door for him and her dad and kind of dismisses him hurriedly - the whole grabbing the keys without touching his hand and taking her dad inside while closing the door on his face, after telling her dad to let him leave was 🤌🏼 - I wanted more of that. I think Sherry is delivering on the angst but it’s the cringe lines he’s getting that get to me. That “kaash dil pe bhi koi marham lag sakta. Bohat dard ho raha hai.” A BIT MUCH lol

Also wondering if his room has a smoke alarm because he legit left those burning papers in there and went out to have a long ass woe is me conversation 🤭

My thoughts on the eventual marriage is that Zain’s mom is gonna create some fasaad last minute and their wedding is gonna get called off - Emaan’s sister’s in laws will try to use this golden opportunity to force her into a marriage with snarky sameer, but no way girl is ending up in that house so… VOILA! Salaar to the rescue - she’s aware he’s into her now and he was recently promoted from invisible to creep, so 2+2 smiley36

The premise and set up of all this is soooo not unique but I’m enjoying the characters so it’s working so far.

if he is an uncle who was bequeathed as a trustee then he should make more effort to know his late sister's only son .. spend an hour with him once a month and he would be able to tell he's being tortured or isn't getting love.. gawd!

I guess for Emaan, Salaar isn't significant let alone the conversation smiley36

I didn't mind Salaar's dialogues, he is a little too emo as a character for the obvious reasons. Bholu insaan he is 😂

Jokes aside, premises are usually typical, it's the execution that makes the difference.

So, I really hope makers will excute Emaan and Salaar's love story properly.

And also, I have said this before also that I want makers to explore Salaar's trauma and abuse properly instead of making him fine out of the blue.

The show so far is good, hopefully it will continue to be good.

A lot of the drama’s intrigue rests on the mystery surrounding Salaar and how the story handles his trauma so fingers crossed for that execution. “Find out of the blue” is pretty typically what happens, doesn’t it? smiley36 If they want Emaan to be his knight in shining armor and for the reveal to happen gradually around their love story, it should be done well.

Her falling for him shouldn’t be out of the blue as well. Less said about how Zain’s character can be butchered down the line, the better. So many seemingly good characters who do a 360 degrees all of a sudden. But that teeny tiny moment between him and that chic who he rejected gives me hope. That he won’t end up dead or in jail at the end of this but maybe he’ll eventually come around and find someone else. As long as his character trajectory makes sense I’ll take it. Someone that good shouldn’t be converted into a full blown villain.

Also speaking of trauma, Sawera’s also needs to be dealt with responsibly. It’s the same old domestic abuse angle over there as well but so far I’m not wary. The scene between Emaan and Sawera was also done well. It wasn’t too preachy but heartfelt and supportive. I hope they don’t kill this sister off awain… or the dad. No death for a change please lol

So, she is his half sister. I was confused. Liked their bond. I hope she ends up with Zain.

so many theories. Not sure if she is even half-sister unless confirmed in the show or by the makers or cast officially by themselves.
