I'd say its not weird but realistic na. She is getting drawn and attracted to him- because of his special gestures for her. She is vulnerable , he is all she has and he is being sweet. she is seeing these gestures that seem "out of the way" and special and is falling for it all. moreover he is also giving hugs, forehead kisses and acknowledging her. heart is out of control but her mind is telling her not to get carried away and that this shaadi was a deal and she cant get carried away or become too dependent on anyone. Reminding herself of all the times he has let her down and how she should remain independent. Its also a great contrast that unlike Charu and Ruhi who are shown being kinda ditzy in infatuation/love, Abhira is trying to catch herself, shake herself out of it.

It was the way she was humiliating the oldies that got me even yesterday. Gaslighting pure and simple. I am not bothered by Armaan 2.0 and Ruhi 2.0’s scenes either because their vibes are platonic at best. Just didn’t want to see Ruhi’s histrionics. And yeah, Shahi just wants a pretty face for Ruhi. Acting is not a criterion. To think that people imagine that Ruhi is the actual lead

Armaan doesn't compare Ruhi and AB..he has never thought of abhira and ruhi on same level..he shares different emotions for both

He feels he is indebted to ruhi because he dint stand up for their love.. this is how ruhi manipulates him and puts these thoughts inside his head..he is affectionate only because of that reason..yes ,its his mistake that he doesn't draw a line..

Towards abhira he is grateful because her mom saved him..he feels high level of responsiblility towards her..he is changing and will completely change post love realisation...he will completely end it with ruhi when that happens..if not as usual he is 🤬

ya but we need progress na. the show begins with guilt and infatuation for Ruhi vs duty to Abhira

but as things progress, he needs to start contrasting the two and realizing that what he felt for Ruhi was just an infatuation and Abhira impacts him much more strongly than Ruhi ever did. And he needs to start feeling indebted to Abhira for all that she does for every family member selflessly and all those instances should make him realize that she is not what he assumed but is actually a problem fixer, and very mature. Whereas the woman he fell for assuming she looks mature and soft spoken is actually useless because she can never take a stand and only self victimizes herself. Before he realizes love and properly moves on, we need to see that shift.

If he is gonna be equally impacted by both women all the time and there isnt even an unconscious pull towards Abhira more than Ruhi, then its not nice to watch. He looks like a two timer.
