There were/are so many things to show - Anupama going to therapy for diassociating herself with Shahs and being a Ma all the time. Anupama learning proper English if she wanted to go to America and Anupama realizing worth of proper communication. Anupama maintaining healthy boundaries with her abusers - stop putting them on a pedestal. Anupama meeting other ladies and realizing how their life shaped up with confidence and fighting back on abuse, etc. These are just a few things. She could have done more and all of this is without presence of Shahs. That would be woman empowerment. Sometimes, you learn from others - but this version of Anupama is self proclaimed bessht at everything. The woman who stayed within 4 walls of shah house very confidently makes these proclamation without realizing she has no credibility at all.

They could have shown Shahs getting their karma.

But kya karein, women empowerment ke naam ko Anupama ko 2 4 savage dialogues de dete hain which have no credibility now.

Besides, Ye orat kiski Ma hai - her kapoots don't regard her as Ma, Adhya hates her.
