What Shruthi did is insensitive . Period. I rest my case here.

I don't think Anupama hid anything. She was shocked and hurt to find out the truth about Anuj and Shruti. And she was meeting Anuj to give Anuj a closure. In Shruti's case, she very well knows that Anupama and Anuj's separation was not pleasant. Also, she knows that Adhya hates Anupama but Anupama still loves her. Anuj and Shruti's wedding is not only about Anuj and Anupama being separated forever. It also means that Shruti will become Aadhya's mother. So, Anupama is getting separated from her daughter as well. Shruti also knows that Anupama just came out of jail. She can see her celebrating her birthday and she intentionally broke that news. It is just insensitive no matter how we try to justify the action. Shruti was just too insensitive here. I don't even get the logic that Anupama didn't tell her about she being the ex of Anuj.

Shruti is too hyped character shown too perfect as what aadhya Anuj describes now her flaws will come out , as she said she was insecure so she will do blunders

She was shocked and hurt knowing about Anuj and Shruti that she chose to play along and act as strangers and continue playing strangers? Not want to clarify things with Shruti. Did Anupama think that that her being ex-Mrs. Kapadia would be hidden forever?

Shruti had no way of knowing Anupama's "good intentions". We as the audience, a third dimensional party who get to see both sides are able to gauge not Shruti and she has every reason to feel that Anupama and Anuj deliberately hid it from her while being in contact behind her back until she found out, came across it by chance.

Her actions are a consequence of the hurt, betrayal and spite. One tries to get back at the source of their hurt (in this case, Anuj and Anupama) where it would hurt them the most. There are no saints here. Guilt tripping, "aapki khisi ke liye chod diya" as a justification of abandonment or this.

Are we saying she did not hide it, just did not tell the truth?

One of the reasons Kavya was faulted along with the affair was betrayal of trust. She was coming in to Shah House as a friend, not just as the colleague of Vanraj but Anupama's friend as well.

Shruti's actions are, at best, uncalled for, not correct or Incorrect, should or shouldn't have.

Shruti's actions were insensitive, immature and hurtful. One must know when and how to break a news.

Also, Kavya was having an illicit affair with Vanraj. Don't compare it with Anupama and Anuj. Anupama has never intentionally hurt Shruti nor do I think that her initial hiding has anything to do with it. We are just trying to connect this incident with Shruti's actions only to justify her action.

Yes, Shruti took revenge. She intented to hurt Anupama. She had that motive behind her actions.

Shruti is a coward use pata hai anuj still loves anupama and he told her also he cannot love her the way he loves anupama there is no place for any other woman in his heart, yet shruti did this because she is not able to show her anger towards use bechari banke sympathy base pe anuj se shaadi karni hai zabardasti apna poora frustration jo anuj pe nikalna chahiye wo badla le rahi hai anupama se taki anuj and upma dono ko ek saath dard ho as she cannot directly hit anuj magar ek baat ye shru bhool gayi kisi se bhi zabardasti pyar nahin karwa sakte naa kisi ko kisi ke dil se nikaal sakte hai, she also knows agar uske parents ki death nahin hui hoti toh anuj kabhi bhi shaadi ka proposal nahin rakta anuj when he was trolling adhya for her misbehaviour he told her in front of shruti that cant adhya realize how many sacrficies he has done for her that includes getting engaged to shru also which that shru knows very well
