So I was right. Surya and Anjali were in love and wanted to be marry. Now his sacrifice to marry Imlie feels like something huge. He gave up his happiness for the promise he made to Dadi amma. Yeh kaisi GF hai who hasn’t called him since so many days. Actually this girl looks quite young and pretty.

I love how they are showing Surya take care of Imlie while respecting her need for space. Loved how Imlie asked Surya to drop her to school to fill the exam form. But Surya was so scared that Anjali will come home isliye went to stop her instead. Kaki stopped Imlie from going to school coz of pehli rasoi. Full trp serial banta jaa raha hai yeh. With Surya out of the house, his family did not listen to Imlie at all. It is good to see Imlie being so patient dealing with this regressive family.

Happy to see Sai share screenspace with Jaya. Her character is so interesting.

Surya is like a dhol Har koi usko bajate jata hai. Imlie, Indhira, Anjali, Malti, Nirmala. Yeh sabko balance karte karte pis jayega lol.

On a serious note, I’m so glad that Ren suggested that I make the “Yaadein” thread. It’s a place that I revisit when I feel like crying, laughing and smiling.

I never imagined myself capable cherishing a piece of fiction so ardently.

In a way, I always stayed away from shows that were still airing. It was tiresome to keep waiting everyday and most of the episodes didn’t feel worth the wait.

Imlie 3 had me surprise myself. Being an active member of the AT, writing lengthy post passionately and even creating edits was something I never imagined myself to do for a show.

I can’t even begin to say how nice it so have y’all be apart of my daily routine. We always give eachother honsla and we maintain such positives vibes that it always brightens my day when I come here.

Agastya and Imlie’s love gave me hope and brought back some feelings I thought I had long forgotten, I related to their pain so heavily and their story was so beautiful. I didn’t even realize when they became my habit.

And although losing Agastya is painful, the joy of having seen his kahani with Imlie outweighs the sorrow.

Now that it’s over, all we can do is reminisce and hope that Imlie gets some semblance of happiness back in her life with Surya. Aage ki kahani jaane Radharani!

It was a pleasure knowing you here on this AT Kashish. Seriously when the show started it was only some gine chune fans of Sai who were on this forum and we were all waiting to see Sai do a different character as his second show did not do any justice to his talent. The AT used to hardly move beyond a page in those days.

I really enjoy all your posts and now this AT feels so lively and it has become a part of my daily routine and someone talking about the show with everyone makes my day go well. When Agastya was killed, I was down and it was only because of this AT I bounced back and knowing Gul I was keeping my hopes low that Agastya would be bought back. But still my romantic heart wanted August babu to be back to be with his Imlie - Khair it was not meant to be. When I watch the old episodes Dil bhar aata hain - These 2 deserved all the happiness in the world but it was snatched away from them too soon.

I just hope Imlie at least gets her life back with Surya and learns to love again. Though after experiencing that strong of a love it would be tough for Imlie to fall in love with Surya again. Let's hope the team does not disappoint us a second time again.

This Anjali being in love with Surya seems to be a last minute addition. When the new characters ka details came out it was mentioned that Anjali is someone who the family wanted to be married to Surya but now suddenly Anjali is Malti's classmate and Surya is in love with her ? Not only that there are so many photos of Surya and her on her bedroom wall.

If Anjali was indeed the love of Surya then I have to say Anjali bach gayi by not marrying Surya as this guy did not even think of her when he was fake marrying or rather threatening to marry Binni or when he married Imlie. This more or less feels like infatuation from Anjali side and Surya is just indulging her. He does not seem to be a person who is deeply in love with Anjali because he did come to marry Imlie even when his Tayiamma asked him not to marry Imlie.

Somehow I feel they are setting up the stage where Surya will start to feel jealous of Imlie's love and devotion towards Agastya after seeing the superficial love that Anjali has towards him. Surya toh sabke beech phis jaayega and he will be getting gaali only from everyone.

I liked Surya and Tayiamma's scene in the morning. Jaya is a good actress who does not yell or shout and can modulate her tone diction really good to show that she is disappointed. Also the flashback of Surya and Imlie after marriage when Imlie asked him not to touch her was a good add-on. So that is the reason why Surya is not touching Imlie because she asked him not to. And I feel Surya is also okay with Imlie moving on after 1 year but by that time he will fall head over heels in love with her.

I did not like the last segment of the episode - debate of Imlie with Tayiji. What is the point of debating when she could have finished the rasoi and then gone to get the form ? She is anyway a good cook so she can actually cook everything off in less time and it would have scored some brownie points for her in Tayiji's eyes but nope madam wanted to be a lecture ka deviji and wanted to lecture on what is right and what is wrong. There is a time and place for everything. Imlie during Agastya and her contract marriage was not like this - she went over the top to adjust to the chaudhary's but here it is as if she is doing everything she can so that these people throw her out.

Also someone who watches the show on TV - Can you please confirm what is shown on TV when the traffic scene comes in the episode ? Today the traffic scene was placed so bad - in between a good scene. Like Surya and Imlie were sleeping then there was a whole 30 sec ka traffic scene and then we had Imlie crying in her sleep. It was so disjoint. Can they place the ad scenes with better timing please.

I understand the pressures of daily tv writers but at least have a concrete storyline. Now Surya looks like a cheater as he has a girlfriend and obviously the team did shoot some photos to make it believable and yet he went ahead and married Imlie. Sigh - Welcome to the standard SP show ka template. Gharwali and Baharwali.

I liked today’s episode, they need to keep giving us Surya and Imlie scenes. Also it’s only the third one, but the charm of the plain anarkalis has really worn off, they look so shapeless. Humari stylish Imlie ko wapas le aao! Especially since the third angle is going to be shown as modern and fashionable in a bold way.

Although quite brief, I enjoyed the scene in the room. Surya used to be this guy who manhandled Imlie constantly and now he’s considerate enough to not even touch her in her sleep, even if it’s to help her. I’m still not melting but I’m appreciative of this badlav. I like how he used his shoulders to keep Imlie from falling off the bed before covering her with a blanket. He’ll hopefully continue supporting her like this in other ways during their marriage, I want him to complete Agastya’s incomplete promise of always catching her when she falters.

Turns out Anjali really was Surya’s serious gf, she has a wall of their printed pictures in this day and age. She looks like a nice person so far but I can see her becoming vampy after getting the sadma of Surya’s marriage with Imlie.

This makes Surya flirting with Imlie in the beginning so disrespectful when you think about it. Granted, back then he was supposed to be Agastya with memory loss and Anjali didn’t exist but still. I’m not excited for him to be emotionally affected by Anjali, I’d rather he be a bad boyfriend but a good husband.

We’re really getting those saas bahu wali vibes with the whole conversation between the women after Surya left. I felt like I stepped into a time machine when Tayyi stopped Imlie from going to sign up for her exam just so she could do her pehli rasoi. Imlie is talented in the kitchen but Nirmala-Malti will probably try and ruin the rasam.

I can understand Imlie questioning the rules and norms of the household, but at the same time she should know that you can’t change someone’s mentality in a day. She got lucky with the Chaudhary’s, they were more open to change. It’s one of the things that made me like Dadi in the beginning, her ability to actually listen and allow herself to accept her mistakes. But at the same time, she would paltao so quickly that it stopped feeling genuine. Imlie can definitely make her way to Tayyi’s heart, but it’s a long journey, unfortunately one that Imlie has no motivation to take at the moment.

Tayi Amma feels like the kind of character whose trust is hard to gain but once you have it, you’ll never lose it. I can see her being Imlie’s biggest ally in the future. Unlike Dadi who gave her trust easily but also took it away the moment Imlie did something she didn’t like. It’s an interesting dynamic so far between Imlie and Tayyi, one that I really hope they explore well within the show.

Surya and Anjali’s first encounter at the station will set the mood for the future interraction. She’ll probably run up to Sunny Boy and hug him to greet him. Imlie won’t feel any jealousy, if anything she might push Surya towards Anjali. I look forward to seeing them slowly start feeling something towards one another, like imagine the first time they call the other their pati or patni with haq.

I’m probably going to cringe a bit at Surya and Anjali’s “romantic” scenes, either that or I’ll get my chappal ready for them lol.

This is exactly what I feared. Anjali being Malti’s friend and Surya’s girlfriend. Reddy family not knowing about her. Anjali having so many pics in her room. Surya ka character assassination started Surya is turning into a SP ML. Now we have to wait and see what our mahan FL will do.

On a side note , it’s easier to write off Anjali if the track doesn’t work. Had she been Taiji’s relative and the family’s choice for Surya, she would have been a permanent fixture. The whole family would have been involved in separating Surya and Imlie.
