This is so true. If the Chaudhurys wanted, they could give her a share of their business ( because she was Agastya's wife ) Imlie would be financially independent and fulfill her wishes. But no, they had to get her married. She did not get anything in return with her association with the Chaudhurys. Only good memories were her Agastya her relationship with Sonali.
