The start of episode felt so disjointed from yesterday episode. For normal trp audience it's like the taunts of the lady didn't even got completed and Imlie started reacting to it. Where was the middle part of the taunts that affected Imlie so much that she has to come down from stage and directly confront the lady

Also Imlie giving back to that lady felt super short. It's like she spoke 2 line dialogues then Indira intervened . After that Surya spoke his one line dialogue and the whole reception sequence got over.

Its clear that Tayiji respect matters to Surya as much as Imlie well being. Bahut balance karke chalna padega. TBH I am not finding much fault in Indira dialogues and actions too apart from regressive thoughts . Ladies of her age have same expectations like her that wife of their son shoulder be good partner to him and perfect bahu. This is not something out of the box she is expecting from imlie.

But as same time it's tough for Imlie to fulfill those roles too. She has already experienced these things and now don't have any place in her heart for any new relationship.

So Imlie ka one of the future mission already taiyar hai. To get Chachi acknowledged in the family and maybe society too for her dance skills. I liked that they gave dance as skill to chachi. Imlie universe mein gaane aur dance ke bina maza nahi aata

The most interesting character as of now is Nirmala who is spicing things in somewhat boring track. Yeh suhaagraat planning toh choti Moti baatein hai. I am waiting for the time when she will play big games.

What was the point of suhaagraat decoration if the leads had changed into casual clothes. Sach mein this team doesn't know how to capitalis high points in story

As expected Surya will bring back Imlie home in tomorrow episode . No guessing on that point.

Sunaina mentioned it before, but I also feel like there’s a sense of grandeur missing from the reception party hosted by the Reddy's. Same flower decorations and all but something was lacking in the vibes.

Imlie and Surya got all dressed up, Sai and Adrija both looked so good. But we barely got to enjoy a few minutes of them in those outfits. In comparison, Imlie and Agastya’s reception outfits lasted like 3 episodes.

Imlie came down, they took some photos, the guest started widow shaming Imlie which lead to her defending herself and then Surya asked them to leave. No music, no awkward dance or nothing. She changed back into a simple but still pretty anarkali kurti and he went back to his chapri wale clothes.

There’s theraav in the story but the pacing of the event felt a bit rushed. They could’ve at least kept them both in their reception attire if the suhaag raat was the next point of tension between them.

Ek baat aur notice kiya hai Maine. Chaudhary family ke mostly functions night mein dikhate the which really used to give feel of real north Indian family celebrations. I could clearly point out that Agastya imlie reception happened at night.

Jo functions din mein bhi hote the uske liye they used the hall so effectively. Like the hall used to looked filled up with people, gifts and props

The writing team should look back at those episodes. We had gotten a whole getting ready sequence then Teri meri kahani when Agastya imlie came together, the frustration of Agastya in his room after being called illegitimate by Chintamani couple and Imlie trying to pacify him. Hulu did not update the episode for some reason at all. No idea if it is only for me or for everyone else. Anyway watched the episode on Dinky site.

The writers are again losing grip on the story line. In the SBS or SBB segment they had some more dialogues before Imlie answers the people. Today the start of the episode felt so rushed and so disjoint - like Imlie suddenly started lecturing the relatives. In these kind of situations it makes sense for the team to replay some scenes from the last episode so that the audience can get the feel and connect to the story.

I did not like the whole confrontation or Imlie answering back to the guests. Agastya - Imlie ka reception had far more tashan and good dialogues when Chintamani told that Imlie was a bar singer. It is like the people wanted to end this segment. They just wanted Surya to have a confrontation point with Imlie due to this relative insults.

I don't agree with the regressive thinking of Tayiji but people of that age have old fashioned ideas and she was somewhere correct in saying that Imlie needs to stop living in past and start staying as Surya's wife in their house. This was a good point for Surya to butt in and shield Imlie as only Surya knows that Agastya died because of him. But nope they made Surya mute in this whole sequence.

I am liking the chachi and the bond between Imlie and Chachi will be nice to watch. Finally we got retro vibes back in the show and loved Chachi dancing to Piya tose naina lage re. Nirmala and Malti are like Begano ki shaadi main Abdullah deewana. I did not even understand the need of Suhaag raat decoration now.

And Surya instead of understanding the pain that Imlie is going through is ready to burst out on her. Of course he is worried and he is getting pressure from the family too but the writers need to show Surya as a person who is able to balance both his family and Imlie. Warna Surya would come across as an insensitive person as he knows how Imlie did not want this marriage and they are just forcing her to go through the marriage.

I am looking forward to a heart to heart conversation between Surya and Imlie and unfortunately today the team totally missed the point.

And can the team decide on what foundation Sai should be using please. It is jarring to see Sai being shown as having dark foundation in some scenes and then light foundation in other scenes.

I can sympathize with Surya a bit but I can’t bring myself to critique Imlie at all. See I understand her point of view as well. What I expect from her is not a tall ask. It is just to pretend before his family so that he is not in a difficult position. I am pretty sure she would bend over backwards if this was Chaudhary's who were asking this of her.

We’ve seen this girl always compromise and put other people first. She has never prioritized herself and at a certain point everyone has a limit to what they can tolerate. Again, all I am expecting from her is pretending before his family. Nothing changes in her personal life. I don't think Surya wants her to be uncomfortable as well. He was willing to share a fake report, cause a real accident and even make the family understand before Imlie agreed to put the sindoor.

Dadi coerced them both into getting married and Imlie’s honestly doing the best she can at the moment. She’s barely holding it together emotionally and there’s still so much for her to process in her grief. Right now, she’s going through denial, she refuses to believe that she’s actually married to Surya so of course she can’t go through the pretence of being his wife. We can’t compare this to the contract marriage with Agastya because that was a different Imlie, one who hadn’t lost the love of her life.

I am not comparing this with the Agastya-Imlie contract marriage as the circumstances are completely different. The thing is her not accepting this reality is causing issues for Surya and he does not deserve to be put in a tough spot. He is the only one who has been trying from the start.

The sindoor and mangalsutra were already big steps for her, we can’t deny that it took a lot for her to do it. Now on top of that we want her to stay quiet and not make a scene when her relationship with her Babu gets tarnished by strangers? We want her to not freak out and pretend like everything is fine when the Reddy’s prepare her Babu’s bedroom for her suhag raat with Surya? When she was willing to be ok not to be acknowledged as his wife? What will happen if a bunch of strangers who will never see her again say anything about her marriage to Agastya? Didn't she say previously that even if no one believes, she knows she is married to Agastya. That girl was fine if Binni was the wife to Agastya before the society. The point I am trying to make is that aise logon se jhagad ke kya milega? How does their perception of Agastya-Imlie relationship change anything in Imlie ka life?

It is fine to be shocked to see the room decorations but her running away like that puts Surya in a tough spot. For his family, the marriage is as real as it can be. She has already seen him not invade her personal space, he slept outside, did not touch her for the picture too. Had this been a normal shaadi (not majboori from Surya ka side), there would be an expectation to consummate the marriage. If not immediately, atleast in the future.

Yes, Surya isn’t forceful towards her but all of this in such a short amount of time is still a lot for a person to bear. She’s all alone with no one to call her own, living with strangers and a man who shares the same face as her dead husband. There hasn’t been a single day of peace in her life. The Reddy’s don’t like her and they have valid reasons to not accept her given how they met, but they’re barely giving her time to adjust. They magically expect her to behave in the old fashioned ways.

I just feel really sad for Imlie honestly ☹️

I agree Imlie is living among strangers but they are her in-laws right now. The Reddy's are not keeping any tall expections from Imlie here - putting sindoor, coming dressed for her reception, suhaag raat with her husband are all normal expectations.

Even if Malti and Nirmala ke intentions are not right, they are not doing anything over. They don't know the extent of her love for Agastya. Agar Chaudhary family ne yeh nahi socha why will the Reddy's accept? What old fashioned ways are expected out of Imlie - yes, they have regressive thoughts in general but they have not imposed anything as such on Imlie.

I also feel bad for Imlie but I also feel for Surya (not as much as Imlie as he did not lose the love of his life). Actually, idk they should have made Anjali his fiancé.

Yes the whole feel of the functions were good for Chaudhary family and the shooting was done with good lighting(maybe because it was shot in the night). Here it was so dull and the whole hall being decorated was for nothing. They just had a scene of whole family and some drama and the guests left.

I loved when Agastya and Imlie dressed up and walked down the stairs as married couple. Agastya in that light blue suit and Imlie in that red saree with flowing hair. I agree that Imlie can not be happy now but at least style the leads better. Sai sometimes has dark foundation and sometimes has light foundation. Samajh main nahin aata why the team is doing these many minor mistakes.

Or maybe the team is thinking - arey bhai who is even watching the show this intently as IPL matches are going on so they are not bothered with these small things.

In last week's precap there was a scene which obviously was not shown in the episode where Imlie is not able to see her maang with Sindoor and Surya says Sorry Imlie I don't want to make you uncomfortable. That one scene was so nicely done. I want to see this sensitive Surya - one who understands that Agastya and Imlie loved each other and were married only to be separated as Surya's enemies mistook Agastya to be him. But nope yahan toh they are showing Surya being obtuse and not even understanding Imlie's position.

I really hope going forward they are going to make Surya sensitive to Imlie's pain. At the same time Imlie needs to be clear on what she can do for this relationship for the 1 year she said she is going to live in the house. They need to start building the relationship being friends first - This Surya blowing cold and then hot is not going to work out for me.

Both went into the marriage for their own reasons which are linked to Dadi so yes I feel bad for both of them too and agree Imlie should at least try to meet Surya half way, for appearances sake and to show some understanding towards Surya’s predicament. Even though he reverts to type, he does try with her.

For Imlie to walk out again, which is typical of her, is not the answer and is just rinse and repeat on the writers part lol. I think this is the first time I’ve criticised Imlie lol.

the thing is there's no shipper of Surya Imlie relationship in the current storyline. Na toh Imlie chahti hai yeh rishta na Surya aur na hi reddy family toh hum audience kis umeed de dekhe ki ek din dono sath ho jayenge. It's like Jab kisi ko yeh rishta chahiye hi nahi so why carry the burden of this relationship.

Agasthya imlie ke contract marriage mein everyone had some motive to fulfill through the marriage. Agastya would have gotten his business, Imlie would have gotten the money for ashu treatment and dadi was content that finally her pota was settled in his life.

Bas ek Anjali ko extra character bana ke le aana chahiye tha. Baki yeh sab plot toh Chaudharys family ke hote huye bhi execute ho sakte the

There was nothing she could’ve done to stop it either. People spend years grieving their loved ones who passed away, it’s only been a few months and Imlie has barely had a moment. No one is asking her to move on and not grieve. Surya is giving her as much space and time without any expectation from her side to fulfill the marital duties. Even if Surya genuinely loved Anjali, which I doubt they would show because it’s risky. He chose to get married to Imlie after seeing Agastya’s video. He could’ve not shown up and said that his family didn’t agree, they could’ve delayed things and the Chaudhary’s could’ve met the Reddy’s. But his guilt and his sense of responsibility toward his brother made him come to the temple and marry Imlie. If Imlie actually leaves him after that one year, which she won’t, he still can salvage his bond with Anjali because she would be alive. Unlike Imlie, who’ll never get back her Babu.

Actually they should show him in love with Anjali. That will make it feel like a huge sacrifice from his side. Giving up the love of his life due to guilt. It will also make sense to show him being pulled to her side as well. It will also justify why Anjali will be a vamp. I am not denying that Imlie will never be able to get the love of her life back but sabki kismat same toh nahi hoti na? Imlie atleast had the privilege to fall in love so deeply and be loved back in equal measure, Surya may never get that.

It is nice to see this badlav in him, I’m not melting yet. But I will appreciate him standing by his decision to marry her assertively in front of the family. I like how respectful he was to not touch Imlie during the photo, the concern in his eyes when putting the sindoor and even how he covered her with his jacket in the car. And you know I’m looking forward to him wiping her tears when she’s sleeping with his handkerchief. I am also not melting, atleast till they don't give him better clothes. His traits till yesterday made him more likeable. He walked on thin ice today with all the yelling episode. I loved loved loved the hanky se tears wiping scene.

These are all good changes from him but I don’t consider these to be good enough to prioritize his feelings over Imlie’s. I’ll always allow myself to be more lenient towards Imlie because this is the first time this girl isn’t accommodating others hastily at the expense of her own mental health. They’re both taking baby steps, we’ll have to see how they build on that in the next few episodes.
No ofc, Imlie gets the whole deal of sympathy and rightly so but I can't seem to ignore Surya and his position too. He is stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Already Anjali calling him Sunny Boy in that precap feels like glass in our ears, imagine if she actually gets close to him. The chappals are going to start flying lol

We are discussing these things way too deeply while the writers are not able to actually even showcase 10% of this in the episode.

Actually a lot of this is coming from the other show I have seen 2 decades ago. The male lead there was so likeable (Agastya feeka pad jaye uske samne). He married his bhabhi to save her from social disgrace and to save his grandfather from dying (no blackmailing but a genuine health issue). He was super guilty towards his new wife as he married her without her consent and guilty towards his fiancé whom he cheated on with this marriage.

Imlie writers could never even touch the nuances of that show.

What was with the beginning of the episode. I thought there is some issue with my internet and the episode just skipped some part. Both Imlie’s and Surya’s dialogues seemed ✂️ . Such bad editing. Extra 2 minutes wouldn’t have hurt.

I don’t want to take sides because both Surya and Imlie are maha ziddi. They have to learn better.

But the conclusion is Imlie shouldn’t have run away. Hamara bedroom wala angst scene kaise milega. All that decoration is gone waste.
