How is Mahira be more deserving than Sajal who did a Hollywood film just recently? Mahira might be a star but Sajal is the one to represent Pakistan internationally the most recently so I think she won the award fair and square.

JBG was a weird case. First they included it in the nominations in 2022 when it wasn't even eligeable then they ignored it completely next time. Was it ignored because it's propoganda content?. Even if this was the reason then why include it in 2022

That's the thing it wasn't included in 2022. Only Talha Chahour snuck in the Best Emerging Talent category. Haissam, Wahaj, Maya, the show - no one got any noms in 2022. We were then told that JBG wasn't eligible for 2022 that's why it wasn't there. But why Talha was there in 2022, I have no idea.

Someone is mistaking us for someone’s fan. Well they themselves are fan because that person was only concerned about thread and not the show. Now they have created thread by their name so they are suddenly tere bin fan. Hypocrisy is that when S1 thread was there , same person used to mock the same users and same show and actors. I am your well wisher in this case. Not every fan is a lover of the show(disguise game) thread ka chakkar

Yes, she deserved it. We are not comparing the two. Just saying that Mahira also deserves one for all her contributions. They don't have a restriction on the number of these medals the govt hands out. I am sure her time will come in some other year.

As much as I doubt people in these government offices having seen What’s Love Got to do with It, in which case may I also respectfully add that Sajal had a supporting role and not a lead role so I don’t think that movie makes this case at all, I think it ultimately comes down to who contributes most consistently to Pakistani tv.

Doesn’t Mahira do projects super rarely? Last time I saw her in Razia, before in that show with Kubra and then before that in Raees. So more recently hasn’t Sajal done more work? Isn’t she the more consistent contributor?

This is just my speculation by the way. I’m pretty sure this can also be random af and for all we know Mahira might get it another year.

Yes, Talha must have strong connection to snuck into the nominations when JBG wasn't even eligible.

I always find Diva magazine list much more accurate. They gave critical to Wahaj for JBG
