I thought YRKKH4 was an unofficial remake of Kusum Dola but someone here cleared it to me that it is an official remake.
Whatever be it be, how many producers and writers of Star Plus will recycle and reuse the same plots again and again.
Even Imlie Season 1, Ghum Season 2, Jhanak and Pandya Store Season 1 are second official remakes of Bengali shows.
Don't the writers and producers of Star Plus have any original ideas?
Aur toh aur, these shows start off as official remakes but in the course of time they make a mess of the original plots and make the remake very very very TOXIC for trps spoiling completely the authenticity of the originals.
It's ridiculous to see the most reputed ITV producer like Shahi and writer like Zama Habib don't have their own original ideas. Where is the creativity of SP writers who wrote excellent shows like DABH, EHMBH, EHT, PKDMMPP gone?
I'm not saying recycling, rebooting and reusing is wrong but how long SP will keep doing it? It's been 4 years now. Since 2020, majority of SP's shows are just REMAKES mainly from Star Jalsha and other regional channels.
If the mature and experienced writers of ITV and SP don't have original ideas then I think SP should give chance to the younger, newcomer and budding writers. What if they write excellent plots like that of DABH, EHMBH, EHT and pad PKDMMPP?
And it's completely unjust when new shows with potential like Aankh Micholi are given early evening slots all because the better timeslots are given to longest running dragfest shows.
Currently, the only original shows in SP are YHC (YHC being a Balaji show has copy pasted from other Balaji shows like YHC season 2 was a copy of Zee tv Balaji show Kumkum Bhagya Season 1), Aankh Micholi which is heavily inspired by DABH, Imlie Season 3 where many tracks were similar to GK's web series Aashiquana.
The only SP show which doesn't seem to have copy pasted is Pandya Store Season 2.
SP should give chance to budding writers.
I know they did try it with Keh doon tumhein but they should give chances for more newcomers too.
