Today's update and my thoughts for the episode.

I honestly snorted my coffee out when he said to Arshi " Mein tumse sacha pyaar kart ahoon". I was like kyaa pyaar? kaisa pyaar re?

Heights of funny was when Arshi said, " I love you Ani. Mein sirf tumhare sath ek achi life bithana chahthi hoon!"

I watched in less than a minute, Why Ani is regretting and questioning himself on seeing Jhanak.

One more thing to Arshi

Arshi, you are searching for loyalty from a man who can't even give you honesty.

This is what we call stupidity.

Oh god i miss kashmir wali Jhanak

why is she keep listening to basu family nonsense? jhanak pls step out. kuch toh apne bare mein soch.

Better go to chennai or b'lore tejas can't find you even Ani can't

lol I was retorting back like what kind of sacha pyar is this….telling himself and telling Arshi again n again doesn’t make it sacha 😂

Arshi ko yeh baat bohut bari padne wala hai.. Ani kabhi nahi pura karega

Yes. His hypocrisy and self-centered nature are coming through well in the recent set of episodes where he started manipulating people. It started with keeping Jhanak by his side and now more is being exposed. AS you said regarding helping Appu, he never stood up for her in every instance. He even behaved meanly with her purposefully for the sake of not alerting Jhanak. I might even dare to say now, that without his knowledge, Jhanak has become the most important person to him in life. That is why her every reaction affects him. Her attitude hurts him. I think the fact that she is so self-sufficient in terms of not needing validation and support from others, especially him probably is a strength of character and point of attraction for him.

Ani rarely shouts and when he does, he goes all out. Not only shouting but also giving snide remarks. He can be mean and petty if he wants. And have you noticed how everyone flinches when he shouts? I think everyone to a certain extent as @vimeo ji said, is aware of his true nature as an heir of the Basu will (the ideals and natures) and doesn't want to incur his wrath. It's always the silent ones when showing the outbursts do the worst, as they only do under the case when their patience and tolerance are tested which rarely happens. They also revere him as the head of the family indirectly, either because of his earnings (don't know how much he earns) or nature, not sure.

Ani is turning out to be more of a grey-shaded character beneath a veneer of goodness. I am all up for it.

More interested to know what Ani is capable of doing when he feels he cannot get through to Jhanak. Will his mask fall off and he becomes impatient in proving himself? would be fun to watch.

Last line- I want to see how low these people can stoop lol.
