Since u mentioned that tweet I revisited that..there was a friend of his who called him out for this one..they had few angry n disappointed exchanges under this same tweet. But now that lady posts pics of the changed and better Kashmir and credits the govt for that. She was apparently a political analyst and has joined some party now.

So people and their views can change if they see something genuinely good and allow themselves the ability to see it.

But there r many others who still live in denial.

He has time to time tweeted and said nonsense stuffs but as he was not famous at that time no one cared.

He too supported Anti National elements but only Deepika faced the burnt as he wasn't famous then, he shit posted on Yami Gautam ka wedding post, that was just in a really bad taste.

Now when he is famous then his nonsense on Social media is being circulated.

It is no conspiracy by anyone on him, it is just when he was not famous so he got away with any nonsense and u can't actually remove something from social media so it is all coming back.

Exactly! No-one cared about him till he was a nobody.

After coming in limelight people want to know more about him, including his past. That's normal.

Oh man couldn’t agree more. What a fantastically talented actor. I first saw him in Mirzapur and immediately gravitated towards him and his character bablu along with kaleen bhaiya was my fav lol

After that when I found out that he would be starring in the indian version of criminal justice I just had see the series and wasn’t disappointed and then went back and saw that amazing movie death in the gunj. So I’ve essentially loved every single of performance of his lol

I’ve heard a lot of rave stuff about 12th fail as well but unfortunately haven’t had the time yet to watch it but it’s for sure at the top of my list of things to watch.

Upar se he is a legitimate outsider from what i’ve read and Lord knows we need as many talented outsiders in the industry as possible so gonna continue supporting and encouraging his work in showbiz lol

Try to do so...you would have to read a lot if you don't want to fall into the trap of what humans made out of the original religion...

Anyways, wherever people use religion there is the 'danger' that it is used to prove a certain point (mostly against something). Why not simply try to concentrate on what religions have in common...and interestingly, it isn't something negative but quite positive.

Vikrant himself will be very cautious now (like so many others), because the freedom of expression is just like beauty: it's a matter of opinion lying in the eye/mind of the beholder...

and kindness is not selective. I try to be kind to everyone. I am trying to be kind to the cartoonist. And I will try to be kind to people who are attacking him as well. But it is natural to expect more from your own people because they are a reflection of you. It’s like saying “why are you disciplining your child and not the neighbour’s child”. Because they are not my child. I can’t control what they do I don’t know what their circumstances and beliefs are. All I can control or try to control is what I do and what my family does.

I understand your point Hedwig trust me..I belonged to that school of thought few months back but I’ll tell where we go wrong in all of this.

In this whole situation you forgot to empathise with the thousand people who felt hurt(again who had no hands in the rape case and who are extremely sensitive towards their gods).You feel the need to defend the cartoonist and Vikrant but when someone reacts because they felt insulted seeing the cartoon you ask them to be kind towards the cartoonist.So you aren’t being kind the ones who got offended..otherwise you would have empathised with them too.

Everyone cared about his tweets after he won the the second award. Where were everyone when he became popular right after 12th fail success? Everyone were saying he should been nominated and won. These people have no love for religion but anti PR.

Random but for staunch Hindus who believe in astrology, vikrant has vipreet raj yoga in his kundali. Which is generally taken to mean that he will face great obstacles and enemies at every stage but ultimately persevere. Just a fun fact, make of that what you will.
