U don't get it..the cartoon he tweeted has nothing to do with Modi.

Again, I don’t like the cartoon but I don’t think it makes fun of any Hindu gods. It was in bad taste but it was clear that the cartoonist intended to say that the kathua rapists were worse than Ravan. Sita is not happy to be kidnapped, she is saying it would have been worse if it was the kathua rapists. Again, I think it was a badly done cartoon. But it is being misinterpreted.

and kindness is not selective. I try to be kind to everyone. I am trying to be kind to the cartoonist. And I will try to be kind to people who are attacking him as well. But it is natural to expect more from your own people because they are a reflection of you. It’s like saying “why are you disciplining your child and not the neighbour’s child”. Because they are not my child. I can’t control what they do I don’t know what their circumstances and beliefs are. All I can control or try to control is what I do and what my family does.

I am saying that he supported a measure that was widely seen as islamophobic. But somehow those tweets are not being discussed. It’s not accidental. It is setting up a “hinduphobic” narrative.
