I saw this interview way long ago..I don't think what she meant is that she wants a partner like murtasim but someone who is masculine and can lead because she herself has dominating personality.

Even after mr, there are girls who idolize him. They portrayed Murtasim in a very alpha hero manner and showed he is caring towards meerub despite those problematic scenes. Fans will always have selective memories.

Yes, I remember that particular clip and even i was baffled to how she said that.

But I don't buy that just because they chose to do the show it means that they are ok with slap and mr in real life but that they did not find it problematic enough to perform on the show. The difference is between reel and real and tb is not the first drama to have such things. But yes, as responsible actors neither of them should have done a script like this.
