They gain recognition alright. But then they step into a very competitive space..more than this competition itself. Fame is instant, but success takes time.
We expect our favs to have success at the scale of Shreya, Sunidhi or ShreeRam. But they came at a time when these shows were at a nascent stage. Now we have so many good singers coming in every season of every other reality show. Almost in the same age grp, singing in the same genre.
Competition is on a much bigger scale, singers of all the preceding shows, current show, next show.
Plus Shreya is very much young n active. Alka Yagnik, Kavitha K are also around. Same with male singers.
They need to be persistent, patient, grab the opportunities and make the most of it. Jo bhi kaam mile
