What to say, those costume guys want something "modern" or something "more" than that "other more successful show" or maybe just a director's/producer's demand or the ''''stylists just wanting to promote their clothes at a minimum rate (not really sure about this 1, Indians who know the film industry a bit, please expand on this)''''. But really, wish they could appoint a historian and done more research than pound on the polygamy factor. It's OK to want to make profit, but Great products make the most profits and Ekta is like a business-person 1st and a producer/director/sponsor later, just like Anirudh (of Katha Ankahee). But oh well, the world is like this now, profit 1st, passion afterwards or just kill that ish.

Édited: Also, Adnan's expressions would be more suitable for a psychological thriller than Ekta's Historical shows. Maybe a better historical or mythological show might suit him but under Siddharth Tiwari's guidance and banner. Notable mentions from his shows are: Ratan Rajput, Thakur Anoop Singh, Pooja Sharma, Sourabh Raaj Jain, Shaheer Sheikh, Praneet Bhatt, Pooja Sharma, Sumedh Mudgalkar, etc...

Well said. I mean, why half-make something when you can't or don't even want to do something. Also, I'm pretty sure something else is the reason, maybe a good loss to cover up the unpaid taxes of yester year's profits or just anything.

I don't know when they filmed the promos, but, Adnan rather than being in character, was more like disappointed from how the show is turning out to be, as the previous shows he did, at least KA, (any 1 episode of KA) had more logic and was more believable than 3-4 episodes of Pracchand Ashok combined.
