Ramananda Sagar version was also like this. Kaikeyi was blinded by her insecurities so she could not sense right or wrong.

Shilpa & Aarav as usual aced their scene in Dashrath warning Kaikeyi's over her actions. Dashrath, somewhere, was responsible for the development of this insecurity in Kaikeyi.

Then when Kaikeyi blamed Rama for the situation, Sujay also did his part decently. I felt like Aarav took a bit of backseat to let Sujay get Rama's reaction over this scene & it was nicely done. Sujay did his bit decently.

Sujay and Shilpa owned today’s episode! I loved the Tula scene so much the way they show us how Ram was loved by his actions and his pure heart. I loved it so much! Since the start they’ve been doing this with his dialogues and actions and Sujay’s superb acting too, the serene smile and all

as for Kaikeyi, I think they rushed her change too fast, they showed her being maniple by Manthra and this change was too fast but atleast Shilpa’s acting made up for it with her arrogance and ego intact she is a great choice for this character. I remember her from old kekta shows and she was a great actress then as well. The way she didn’t even flinch at Dashrath’s panic/heart attack etc.

I hope they show the others reactions in the next episodes esp Kaushalya’s and Sumitra’s

Same with me ...

I don’t think Dashrath was responsible for Kaikeyi behaviour that much

It was Manthra from the beginning who was gaslighting her

Kaikeyi made it clear to her father that Ram is also her son

So Dashrath might have thought she is ok with Ram being Yuvraj and king later on

Dashrath also saw how other three brothers respect Ram and give priority

The fault I see of Dashrath is - he did not apologize to her properly and made her understand with loving approach upon breaking the promise of present during Bharat marriage

95% I feel Manthra brain washed her and it was Kaikeyi ego and selfish motive brought destruction of family happiness

I can’t respect Kaikeyi in any relationship - be it mother, wife, queen or younger to Kaushalya or elder to Sumitra or being mother in law
