Oh wow, I never knew this was a potential casting. I always wanted to see Aish and Rani onscreen together. And unlike Deepika/Priyanka, they were genuine friends. Rani would have completely pulled off this role, although I'm also glad we didn't have to see her get cheated on so that's some consolation. She had good chemistry with Salman but in this era, nothing would top Salman/Aishwarya as a jodi.

Ash would have brought Mastani to life. But Salman as Bajirao would have been a bummer.
