Hello everyone🤗
This is my new FF on Tanya-Raunak.😳 I just desperately want to Jatin Shah in this show and since the possibility of that happening is quite remote I was compelled to write this.
So this is like a crossover fic of Tanya from Vivaah and Raunak from Kasturi......only Raunak is not the evil guy that he is the show right now. And the main focus of this fic is on Tanya-Raunak.Other characters from Kasturi and Vivaah might appear now and then.
This fic starts from the ep where Tanya first meets Kanhaiya.

Chapter 1 - First meetings
The car moved a few inches forward and then stopped....just like it had been doing since the past one hour.
The AC had gone bonkers and had completely stopped working a few minutes back. Not being able to stand the heat inside the car, he rolled down the window to let some fresh air in.
But still no use.The heat outside was equally bad....not to mention the smoke being emitted from the nearby cars.
He glanced in the rear view mirror and saw the people sitting in the backseat had mirrored his previous action.They were also using some office files,which were lying around, to fan themselves.
He glanced at his girlfriend, Shivani, sitting next to him as she droned on about......he didnt exactly know what. He had lost track of what she had been saying quite some time back...actually he hadnt been paying attention at all. Looking at her one couldnt say that it was so hot. She looked prim and proper as always unlike the others who were going mad because of the heat.
He really wanted her to stop talking ...just for a few minutes.The hot weather combined with the heavy traffic was making him irritated as it is. Her shrill voice was not making things any easier.
At times like his he wished he had Robbie's frankness so he could blurt out exactly what was on his mind.
But he couldnt.
Why?
Because he was Raunak Singhania...............he could hardly hurt a teeny weeny little ant, forget anyone's feelings.
He adored her....he really did....but he sincerely wished she would just shut up now.
With his hands on the wheel, he looked out of the window and absently watched the people as they walked by lost in their own worlds, some in a hurry to get back home for lunch and some walking leisurely absorbed in chatting with their friends.
He was just going to turn his head, when suddenly he saw a motorcyle, with two men on it, almost crash into a girl causing her cellphone to fall down.With a startled look on her face, she picked it up and vehemently told the guys to watch where they were going. He couldnt hear her words, of course, but he could make out from the expression on her face. As he looked on, he saw one of the men get down from the bike, remove his helmet and fold his hands in front of her.
The man seemed to be apologising but Raunak could make out that he looked anything but sorry.The way he was looking at the girl made alarm bells start ringing in his head.
That does not look good.
Paying a little more attention, he saw that the guy had a awfully creepy look about him. He noticed the angry expression on her face change to one of fear. She tried to walk away but he blocked her path and continued saying whatever he was saying.
She seemed to mumble something, then turned and started walking away......but instead of getting on his bike and moving away, the man started walking behind her.
The girl, who was almost running now, disappeared around a corner with that man still following her.
He had to do something....anything. He just couldnt sit there and do nothing.
"Robbie", he said suddenly looking behind, "Just come and take the wheel for a few minutes", and saying so he got out.
"What! " Robbie exclaimed getting out. "What happened? Where are you going?"
"I'll be right back ", he said and ran to the opposite road.
Th car behind them started honking and Robbie, with a very confused expression got in the driver's seat and moved forward while the other two occupants, Kasturi and Shivani, looked bewildered in the direction Raunak had run off to.
Instead of following Raunak moved in the opposite direction which would bring him straight in front of them.
He walked steadily towards them and stopped right in front of the girl causing her to halt immediately. She looked up at him and the first thing he saw was the look of absolute terror in her eyes.She was trying to put up a brave front but anyone could clearly read her fear.....and right now she was looking at him with fear too.
Of course she would be scared of him......after all she was trying to get away from that man and he just stepped out of nowhere in front of her.
His eyes moved from hers and stared straight at the freak standing behind her.
He didnt say anything, didnt do anything but just gave the guy the most terrifying look anyone had ever seen on Raunak Singhania's face. If looks could kill, the man would have been lying in unidentifiable bits and pieces on the ground by now. If his family or friends saw him now, they would not recognise him as their sweet, kind Raunak.
The guy backed away slowly and started walking away. He turned back many times only to find that he was still being viciously glared at.
It was only when he completely disappeared that Raunak looked properly at the girl before him and his face softened. She was staring up at him and he noted that she no longer looked scared of him.
"He's gone now." He said quietly.
She turned and after making sure that he indeed had disappeared, she looked back at him.She opened her mouth and tried to talk but due to the fear clogging her throat she couldnt find her voice.
He knew she was trying to thank him and gave her a small smile. "Its ok. No problem....Just be careful next time.....I cant always keep appearing out of nowhere to help you."
Was that supposed to be a joke?! A voice mocked in his head.
But when he saw her slowly smile back, he told that voice to shut up. It worked, didnt it?
"So is your house nearby or do you need a ride back home?
Her voice had come back to her because this time she spoke.
"Oh no its...its quite near. Just a few blocks away......thank you.......so much. If you hadnt come at the right time..."
"But I did" he interrupted.
She didnt say anything....just smiled gratefully and looked away. Suddenly there was an awkward silence.
And then he remembered how he had just run from the car without any explanation. They must be searching for him.
But he found that for some reason he didnt want to leave. Not because he was worried for her or anything, but it oddly felt ...nice just standing there with her, a complete stanger.
He cleared his throat, " So I..I have to go now. I hope you never come across that creep again. You should tell someone about this...like ur Dad so that he doesnt bother you again."
She nodded in affirmation and said goodbye but not before thanking him once again.
As he started walking away, he suddenly heard "Trishna Di !!" and saw that she was now walking towards another girl who was obviously was her sister if he went by the 'Di' reference.
Satisfied that she wouldnt be going home alone, he watched her as she walked away with her sister.
Suddenly he heard a loud honk behind him. Turning he saw his car in front of him with all the passengers giving him a "What the hell??" look.
Gesturing Robbie to stay in his seat, he got in the back seat and was about to tell them what happened when he paused. For some odd reason, he wanted to keep his encounter with that girl a secret.
So he lied.
"I saw.......an old friend from college."
"Who?" Robbie asked with interest.
Oh right. Robbie knew all his friends and vice versa. He was such a bad liar.
"A classmate of ours...I dont remember his name. But anyway it wasnt him. It was someone else."
Robbie and Shivani seemed to buy it because they both turned back and the car started moving freely now that the traffic had cleared.
But Kasturi gave him a questioning look.
In a low tone which only he could hear, she asked "So you left the car and ran like a lunatic just to meet someone whose name you dont even remember?"
Damn! He didnt think of that.Sometimes she was too smart for her own good.
Since he didnt have any reply to that, he just smiled at her and looked away out the window.
