If Anupama had left?

We all had such high hopes for Anupama and felt she was a very strong character at the beginning- and I don’t need to summarize what this character has now turned into.

My question is this-after she got a divorce from Vanraj she was leaving Shah house. Bapuji stopped her from leaving and had her living there as a daughter— and this is where everything began.

if he had not stopped her, and if she had truly started living out separately… Do you think she would’ve continued on to become an empowered character or do you think she eventually would’ve ended up in this place… Selfish toxic, narcissistic type?

Although, that was the beginning of the end of her progress, knowing what she is now, I don't think she would be any different.

I have come to believe that she would have progressed no matter where she was or what circumstance she is in, only if she is determined to move on. Especially after a major setback, anyone would first introspect and take corrective measures. She isn't capable of it.

The intention of makers here is not to show any progressive journey of a women, rather they are more focused on daily drama and serve in front of the audiance who is as dumb as Anupama.

I think there is no character progression of Anupama after divorce. She broke norms , got divorce of a cheating husband, broke norms and got married again when she was a daadi and then what? She failed miserably at managing her priorities. Her priority should be her own growth that I have never saw.she got a supportive husband but then what happened.

Are makers trying to convey that a women can never progress whether she has a supporting family or not? What is the purpose of this show? I am highly confused. What is this America track all about if again Anupama is going to stuck into CA, Anuj, kinjal, pari etc?

Honestly makers does not have any story they are just making it up based on audiance taste.

If anupama left shah family after divorce then shah would have left the show .then probably nameste America track could have started I believe devika could have helped anupama to reach America.

Yes. Makers don't intend to make Anupama professionally successful as they fear her character will become unrelatable to the trp audience. They want her to remain a "bechari" homemaker who apparently sacrifices her own happiness for people she loves.

Plus, to emotionally manipulate the innocent audience, they are invoking sympathy for Anupama in their hearts by showing other characters in bad light.

They are showing Anuj in a live-in and torn between Anupama & Shruti. They are making Aadya endlessly shout "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you Anupama." Also, Toshu and Kinjal are taking advantage of her for their selfish needs. In the process, Anupama looks the best and her mistakes are buried.

Yes and they are successful. I have seen hate comments for Aadhya. Some even mentioned that's why one should not adopt child. All this because they have to maintain their FL as bechari. All that is so regressive.
