I can low-key understand Ruhi

I mean it's a "been there done that" type of situation. Obviously I haven't stalked my ex in the same creepy level that Ruhi has but I still understand her sentiments. If you put the fact aside that she's "fell in love" with Armaan after like 2 hours (this was probably to move the story quickly), Ruhi's actions make sense on her part. For her, she abruptly got ghosted without any explanation - in this case, if Armaan wanted to he would. He could've sent her a quick text, could've emailed her, tell one of his cousins to let Ruhi know. Now when I think of it, he could've asked Abhira for Ruhi's number considering that Ruhi's the one who booked for the Goenka's reservation. Then, when she tries to move on, she's met with the fact that she's moving on with her ex's brother whom Armaan completely lied about. Armaan couldn't tell Ruhi that the Poddar's were his family in the beginning and now can't tell the Poddar's about Ruhi. She runs into Armaan, begs him to tell the truth and is completely willing to face whatever consequences about it. At least she's honest and her intentions are clear here. She was trusting Armaan till this point to stick by her side, and alas he didn't and told her to leave him. But he also told her that Ruhi will be the one in his heart forever, fueling Ruhi's emotions more. Now this is the part that seems creepy but still understandable given Ruhi's emotions. She's completely caught off guard with this breakup, and she's still attached to Armaan which is why she can't stay away from him and sees marrying Rohit as her last chance to stay close to Armaan. If she doesn't marry him, then she'll lose Armaan forever which she can't bear right now. This is where Swarna should've intervened PROPERLY and should've broke off the engagement and sent Ruhi somewhere far away to heal and recover. However she didn't, and somehow validation from Swarna fueled Ruhi more which in Ruhi's perspective, that isn't wrong - if your elders are agreeing with your actions, they must not be completely wrong. However, the marriage happens and Ruhi's happy to at least be under the same roof as Armaan, the love of her life. She isn't considering Rohit's feelings and you can call her selfish for that, but Rohit wasn't Ruhi's motivation - Armaan was. And after all this, Ruhi sees Armaan secretly marrying someone else whom his family does not approve of/like at ALL. This isn't even a slight dislike or anything, this was a major NO-NO in the Poddar clan. Ruhi's understandably frustrated (I would be too) that Armaan couldn't stand up for her, but can stand up for a random stranger. Ruhi sees Armaan making all these efforts for Abhira (despite whatever the reason behind that may be) and is frustrated/disheartened/betrayed that Armaan wouldn't put in the efforts for her when he said that he loves her. Also she's heartbroken with the fact that Armaan promised her that she would be the only one in his heart and here he is with a whole new wife. So here is Ruhi all heartbroken and in the midst of her feelings which she isn't able to shake off nor is able to fully move on because Armaan keeps on fueling into her delusions that he still loves her. Added on top of all this is her trauma that everyone keeps on leaving her. She's seen so many people leave her life due to her misunderstandings. This just makes it worse for her. I feel bad for her actually and while I don't condemn her behavior, I understand her. I've been through a bad breakup too and I know the phase that Ruhi's in - you'll do anything to get your partner back in your life and you lose the basic sense of self-respect and self-worth. I wish Ruhi can just run away somewhere and start afresh. Basically she needs an Akshu Kasauli chapter with an Abhinav.

Amazing post. I was also trying to think from Ruhi's perspective and actually thought that she isn't completely at fault. She didn't turn into a vile /evil woman all of a sudden. Even now she isn't evil. She has been fed hope by Armaan and that has made her delusional.

She could have moved on with Rohit, but he also fled like a coward. So as soon as he took a step forward, coz of Rohit, she took two steps backwards.

Again, the jeth bhabhi angle is super cringe and immoral, but Ruhi's actions can be understood at this point.

Being through a bad break up and being dismissed is something people go though, and I kinda see what you mean she is struggling cus of that!

. But she kinda defies morals for me. Like you don’t harm another individual or scream at them, like that’s a no no. You don’t continuously pursue another person when they are married ! Like self respect ki naam ki cheezz hoti hain. Like if this was like armaan is dating someone else and you are pursuing him, phir bhi chalta hai, many people do that cus hey we are in the world of situationships.

But shaadi ke baad, the goods are permanently off the market. I don’t know I feel very uncomfortable about that!

In my personal opinion, hm sbki life me aise bde blunder hote hai. But hmara character bnta hai on the basis of our decision at that time.

I agree breakup k baad move on krna is difficult and takes time. But hmari dignity hmare haath me hoti hai.

Ruhi ka character inhone week bnaya hai. Due to her childhood I believe. Uske poopy, uski maasi, uski useless bnanu and b Nani, uski wo dida, all are done wrong with her.

Un sbki wjh se ruhi is an unsecured child. But she should not forget about his dignity and self respect. Kisi k liye bi apni self respect and dignity ni chodni Chahye.

BT she actually needs therapy only. And she be fine. Depression ka cure takes time. Do session me thik ni hota.

I am hopeful uska childhood tk ka sare issue and insecurity samne aaye and she can live a peaceful life with dignity for her own. I still love our kid ruhi bt this despo lady is making my annoying.

I understand what Ruhi has against Ar. But why is she taking it out on Ab? She smiles and laughs with Ar but gets angry with Ab? There's absolutely no justification for her incoherent screaming and screeching towards Ab.

Hey this is a very nice perspective! I completely understand it. But as you say we need to think like Ruhi which I feel I have, don’t take me wrong but I would have definitely stayed away from my ex once he got married to someone. I would have hated him for not taking my side and not being with me!

I know Armaan is giving her hopes but why she is she building those hopes when she has been betrayed once already !

Morally she is completely wrong and I feel now she is going to create more mess if she sticks around with her obsession! This is completely my opinion and I am not targeting or attacking you ! Your perspective is good as well 😊

The truth is that Ruhi is one immoral woman. She can blame others for ruining her life but she doesn't want to take responsibility for ruining other people's lives.

If Ar couldn't stand up for her, she couldn't take a stand for her so-called 2 minute love either and the way she took a whole foot step towards marrying Rohit so she can stay close to his brother speaks volumes about what kind of characterless person she actually is. 🤷‍♀️

No I get you! See that would make sense in an ideal world... but when you're borderline obsessed with getting the love of your life back with you, you're gonna take any hope you get and turn it into life's golden chance. You basically trick yourself into being delulu lol and think that ok this time they won't betray me because they "love me so much". Which the obsession naturally happens when you're "denied access" to something and it's not necessarily a bad thing, just human. Ruhi really just needs to firm her mind, hopefully with the help of her therapist and move on. Location changes really help in this. Staying in the same place with the same people will just rub salt on her wounds which granted she chose this for herself but like now that circumstances allow her to move on, she should just play an Akshu and leave lol.

I think in the midst of treating Ruhi, the therapist will also resign. Yeh ladki ka kuch nahi ho sakta hai

I have zero sympathy for a woman who ruined an innocent guy's life just so that she can lust after his brother and is now taking out all frustration on another innocent being. Ruhi is nothing but an immoral, self-centered woman who uses her tragic past to mask her wrong intentions.
