Offscreen age gap! It stays in your subconscious mind which makes it harder to ship the couple. I remember I cringed so hard when Ashnoor Kaur (teenager then) was cast opposite Saurabh Jain (36 then) in Patiala Babes Unless the story demands a couple to have an age gap like "Dil Sambhal Ja Zara" or "Kuchh Toh Log Kahenge" I can't sit through those shows.
