Ghum got ruined because of this. Two actore were married ran the show & not the director. Neil Bhatt is a big actor Shezada Dhanlmi is not that big and it is Prat's first show as well. She has her career at stake.....

On a serious note - I really don't have issues with them dating, my problem is when such angles happen in a TV show off-screen - the relationship between the leads get ruined mostly - especially when his gf will be on set - we will hardly get any leads segment and that's the biggest issue - I know off-screen doesn't matter but it does give a boost to fandom of some kind with leads bonding well.

But chalo, i will focus on characters better - not will fret too much about off-screen.

Avoid off screen drama and ivs... on screen I dont find any big trouble this soon

You should try ipkknd. The leads are still best friends off-screen. Also there wasn't any toxic third angle.
