The point of introducing Yashpal & his mom is to exhibit & enhance Anupamaa's linguistic skills .... uttering punjabi words in gujrati accent. Because she is done butchering English & Hindi so far. smiley29 smiley22 smiley24

Not just the language but think about all the Punjabi dishes she's going to attempt cooking (and fail miserably at doing so) smiley37
