Is it not odd that there is no sensible Ahuja female, the reason why the Ahuja family did not get instant liking from the audience. Might be this is what has reflected more on Nimrits bad luck with marriage so far, any reasonable groom's family would not be comfortable with the Ahuja females, so could have refused Nimrit apart from other excuses. Nimrit if groomed outside of her family would have been a pleasant girl, she is good looking and would have been married by now if that had been her immediate wish in life.

Think in that Virat-dad convo, someone mentioned her as being over-protective of her family. When Virat came in with a burnt palm, she wanted to burn the place down. Was ott but something she is actually doing with Amruta. 'Any outsider doing something to my protected group deserves to be obliterated.' Her anger looks understandable in that sense.

I guess they will slowly move towards showing her as not 'bad' but mean... may also be the reason Amruta is not been shown answering back to her like with Ishika - she's confused and mean but not evil(?).

First dialogue was odd, given that alliance with Gautam is now fixed. But should be fine for those who havent watched it. [Not liking the preachy bit though. Heard its served a lot in the show in sp. dont want it here. ]

But this lady seems to to know something about Babita's past.

And why portray Amruta as a very bad prospect for any groom if her marriage has been delayed till now. She is educated, had a good job until now, and looks beautiful for any man to refuse her. When a girl is independent and working, she normally crosses the marriage age as fixed in our societies until a few years ago

Yeah.. things that kind of turn me off. Well.. men are judged brutally too - not all hunky dory being a man.

Will be good if they keep struggles (with society or self) on an individual basis and not societal level.

In that sense, appreciate a dialogue from Amruta in the latest ep "Society humse banti hai" so.. be that agent of change.. preferably without having grudges on the society.
