The scene outside court house when Tapsee comes out of it and yells "Hardy", the way his face lit up seeing her, thinking she didn't speak against India and rejected the offer
They play music of "Chal We Watnaa" 🙌🙌🙌 Peak cinema
Then Hardy realizes that she came to say goodbye 😭😭😭 my heart broke for him
SRK 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 Only he can deliver a performance like this, no dialogues required, his eyes can tell you everything
Ismein surprise kya tha??
I posted my full review in the main Dunki non-spoilers thread and gave it 6/5 stars.
My only issue with the film was the ending. What was the need to kill off Taapsee's character? Was it the feeling that audiences won't accept a conventional or even bittersweet happy ending anymore? Perhaps the ending was too similar to Veer-Zaara so it was decided she needed to die? It felt very forced and unnecessary imo and I can't see why the couple couldn't have been happy together.
I am getting vibes from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil when in the last act, Anushka randomly starts to die just because for the narrative's sake, there is nothing else left to do. Karan said that Anushka's character had to be punished for not loving Ranbir back. I think it was more a matter that Karan wanted the film to represent unreciprocated love and so he couldn't have Anushka not fall in love with Ranbir but at the same time, audiences would not accept them not getting together and remaining friends, so she had to die to avoid both of those possibilities.
Exactly even i was thinking same. That fat joke on that aunty was just below the belt. Nice thing was no one laughed on that fat shame joke in theatre. Even they made fun of a bald man
I believe someone is gonna come tell you that you saw that scene in the wrong light. Wait for itOriginally posted by: behindyou
