The fun thing about nepotism debate is peopke just forget to acknowledge that even outsiders need caste and class privilege to make it in Bollywood (and almost every other industry in India).

Many anti-nepo online-jeevis were also the once threatening to file an FIR under Article 15 against Ghaywan, a dalit director, for calling and collating Dalit actors and filmmakers.

So unless your anti-nepotism ideals are anti-caste and anti-bigotry too, it is just an effing mudda for debate addas.

oh yes.....even today....and even I find this unbelievable.......but I lost all my respect for Sundar Pichai when I heard that he balked under pressure and refused to let a woman from a certain caste not speak and the event got cancelled......so it is still a problem.
