Is Ranbir Looking Messy to Hide Aging?

I mean, when he's not using CGI, its clear what is going on .

It probably has more to do with looking more masculine/forboding. Clean-shaved Ranbir was very hard to take seriously in Bombay Velvet. He was clean-shaven or had a light stubble the entirety of Jhooti Makkar and Brahmastra.

Right now he definitely has a beard to hide the weight gain on his face from the constant bulking/leaning.

Yes...he is and he is aging quite badly.
