No, only tourist visa is given for 10 years!!! Anupama might have gotten the work visa as she was going to work along with MD and Nakul. Work visa is typically given for a short period of time until the person is required to work. If I remember correctly, Anupama had signed a 3 year contract with MD meaning that MD had employed her for 3 years in the US. So, she would have received L1 visa for 3 years. She cannot get H1B visa as only people with degree in the US (masters minimum) can apply for it and that to the company you are working for will apply on your behalf as they are your "sponsors". These stupid shows are only spreading misconceptions about living abroad and the regulations pertaining to the visas.
