I am not talking about all rounders yaar, just tailenders who can hit sixes at least, once in a while. Look at our tail - they can't even hit fours properly Chahal pisses me off so much, he's proud of his abysmal batting skills & he thinks its funny Kuldeep considered himself a bowling all rounder when he came new to the team, you can still find that clip they used to show on tv when batsman came new to the crease & they introduced themself.

I think T20 actually has been a bit of a bane for us - I don't recall coming across a batting all rounder in a while. None of our top order bowl these days, other than the Netherlands match. In the past we had - Sachin, Sehwag regularly bowling, then we had Raina, Yuvraj - giving more options. Even Rohit & VK are players from pre-T20 era.

I totally agree with u.

But the problem is it is batsman disappointing in main tournaments.

The last 2 or 4 boundaries came in so many overs, in that 2 were from Shami and Siraj.

Hamara problem main batsman not doing their job at most important matches hain.

Uske baad phir gandi fielding in same match.

Bhajji's batting was fun to watch, you never knew what would happen Bat would swing like a hockey stick A bit of like Shahid Afridi, if he didn't have a partner like Sachin or someone at the other end At least we have Jadeja for Bhajji, even though Jadeja isn't as aggressive batter as Bhajji was but a more reliable one these days.

be patient. Hoga. Talent development hoga. Whether you thinking all rounders or bowlers who can bat a bit or batsmen who can bowl a bit.

its one of the reasons, we couldn't put up may be few more runs on the board. I envy teams who bat upto 9 & 10, our 2003 WC was same mold, even 2011 team. Our lower order can even hit a 6 without breaking sweat, proper wild slog like most other team tailenders do say like Shaheen. Zaheer & Srinath were of same mold, just blindly slog using their arm power if we needed some quick runs

Wild slogs are best but by I think starc,bolt(can u imagine he comes at 10)

Look at cummins - my god he plays with the mindset of a batsman....u dn feel he is a pure bowler....zampa is decent enough...rabada is really handy too ...im waiting when we will have a adequately equipped tail ij terms of atleast being adept at holding one end if not capable of launching sky rockets 🚀
