KAATRINAA is so HOT. I've only had one BW wish which is to have Katrina as a desi-English, Lady Croft. Katrina makes me wonder where is ThugLeader, her one and only fan. :(

Say thank you to the Cricket World Cup...on Sunday, it will be the third time that a stadium (Ahmedabad this time) will be "full house" and not the cinemas...and people will be glued at the TVs and not going to the movies.
Afterthought: It was even a wonder that last Sunday the movie made that much with again India in a match and maaaaaaany people celebrating Diwali by doing other things than going to the movies. And, at a half holiday-half working day, with India having the semi-final match, the movie still made a good collection.
Releasing this during the WC was a stupid call. It should have come out on Eid.
The thing is that Tiger 3 is better than War and Pathaan. But the latter two had more "masala" elements. With movies like Pathaan, Gadar, and Jawan, we know that such movies are the flavor of the hour. T3 is more nuanced, and that doesn't help in the box-office.
For Salman, this movie not grossing 400 or 500 crore hurts him. It's the biggest "brand" movie he has, and unlike SRK, he doesn't have another franchise to fall back upon unless YRF decides to reboot the Dhoom series with him. Dabbang series is already dead after that mockery of a third installment.
Regardless, failing to topple TZH is an embarrassment for India's hottest franchise. It seems like Salman is back in his 2000s era now.
yes it should come on Eid yet we don’t know whether or not what number it reaches and it may still reach over 400 plus. And no it’s not an embarrassment at all. Not to him nor is. It’s a good movie ahd has good footfalls rather than junk with numbers. The ratings on this movie or higher than the previous movies and at the same level as Bajrangi bhai jaan that’s why I posted those reviews by neutrals. And also the ticket prices not as high as some movies. Numbers alone are not the criteria. They important business wise yes which it will recover via other means which they know. Plus other movies have said coporate booking was there ( which is legal and gives movies a push ). And don’t get me wrong numbers do matter but so does quality and we sometimes can’t control external matters. This movie main issue is it’s not patriotic enough like gardar were we picking up a hand pump and bashing goons.
