This forum has been dealing with abusive MIDs for over a month now. MIDs are created just to get attention. Though time and again mods have asked members to not engage in any conversation with MIDs, instead just report those posts, still some members don't follow this. There should be stricter rules with this, engaging with MIDs should get increase in warning levels. At times people just engage with them for popcorn entertainment but the member whose name is getting dragged unnecessarily has to suffer! If they don't get attention, atleast then the innocents wouldn't have to suffer!

While we are discussing the security measures, can I also suggest if we could place a limitation on irrelevant personal chit chats on BW topics outside members thread or CC thread? Sometimes I am reading some good discussion on a thread and parallely have to go through 5 pages of GIF posting and gibberish

XYZ reviews/discussion without any spoiler

XYZ reviews/discussion with spoiler

XYZ boxoffice

for Web or smaller films, I think, it's okay to integrate boxoffice into the review threads

The other point that verdicts are - far too often - a discussion point...well, as you mention, it could be a lack of knowledge...

I bet, there are members here who join a discussion about a movie they even haven't watched only to bash it (or a certain actor/actress)

I think it's up to us to react to them accordingly...it's not the moderators' or the admin's task.

100% mods need to step in cos these box office wallah public HIJACK a healthy film discussion or threads about an actor or actress.

Why? No wonder we're losing good members.

Instagram has better film discussion pages and here it's ONLY box office and collection.

We need a balance otherwise we will lose members.

We used to be a proper forum. There were discussions about characters, lyrics, stories!!

You have a report functionality - please make a good /smart use of it.
If a post is reported - that account should be under review immediately and posting should be suspended until a report is reviewed by DT committee 🤷‍♀️ May be have level of report to attend immediately or within certain timeframes. Urgent/non urgent but should be reviewed etc.

This will not only solve MID issue but also non mid/regular members who tries to bully/harass other members.
spamming etc.

Ya bwf is left with trolls n bullies . So much imbalance . Here it is encouraged .
