as a character I like her a lot because I can relate to her. Ofc the characters in a romcom are exaggerated but she isn't overly nice or sacrificial.

Like I am clumsy, when She broke a plate and went like sorry sorry, I was like this is me breaking stuffs 😆 or the rebellious nature to not get hitched or standing up against her father but still want to not disappoint him...

I could even relate to sleeping in the office or not doing anything on the first few days of work 😆

I did like Jiya though from SC or maybe the ship was very lovely and refreshing at that time.

But Bela annoyed the heck out of me cos she was just too passive.

Umeed is likeable and relatable but I do feel that they should have shown some gradual growth in her character too, I hope they'll show her opening a chai cafe on her own.

Jiya was annoying for me but arsal jiya is the best romcom ship

Bela was insufferable towards the end behaving like a heroine straight outta some ekta's soap

In ishq jalebi I liked side characters a bit more like sajjo,bauji,basim's father than the lead pair but the pair was nonetheless pretty and chemistry was there
