I am liking her in kuch Ankahi.

I liked Arzoo, Parishey and Mahjabeen the most in Sinf e Aahan. My sisters had the most funny expressions while watching rabia. One of elder sister named her poisonous. Rabia being rude to mahjabeen was understandable but her behavior with everyone else was also arrogant. I skipped all Sajal and Azaan's after marriage scenes because of the overdose of cringe they served as a couple. After Shanaya's death Yumna completely stole the show with her performance. Also her make up and styling was ❤️

Is there a link where we can read this? Preferably in Roman Urdu 😆

Even I'm shocked that they chose this depression for Netflix. The negative characters are so so bad and Sikandar's story will drain the colour out of every viewer because of the level of trauma

This makes me laugh. Liza was so full of life and they didn't find a suitable actress for her. I'll vote for Yumna as Liza because of her bubbly face. Also with good makeup Yumna can easily look younger or of the same age as Hania

Then I came to know he is Sohail's son. I didn't know him before Raqeeb Se. 😃 I didn't complete watching any of his dramas. I watched many episodes of RS, a little bit of Badshah Begum, and an episode or 2 from Fairy Tale. I am watching less Pakistani dramas nowaday. 😒

Oh ok but you can check his Instagram pre 2021 he joined ig in late 2015 when he was 19

That's on perspective. I like guys who don't shout and talks in low voice so azfar not screaming wasn't a problem for me. I liked Shehryar as much as I liked him in sinf e aahan as Osama. I didn't say Bilal acted bad but Shehryar out did him in my eyes and I'll say that the key factor is the level of grace of both characters. Azfar has more grace in his personality as compared to Salman in my eyes. But Bilal is a good and decent actor, although I have never completed any of his serials but I still appreciates his acting.

About sajal so I'm sorry if my point will hurt you as I know that you love sajal but for me Sajal has been very disappointing as an actor lately. I was five or six maybe when I saw her in meri ladli and she was my most favorite actress for so long. Her performance in Alif, Aangan and YKS is my favorite and no doubt those were award winning performances but in all her three latest project Sinf e Aahan, Ishq e laa and now this kuch unkahi her acting seems forced and ott. In sinf e Aahan I was supposed to feel sympathy for rabia but I ended up falling in love with mahjabeen. Rabia was so obnoxious for me just because of Sajal's expressions. Similarly in ish e laa I had no attachment with Shanaya even when she got martyred I felt nothing for her. I read ishq e laa's story first and I felt bad for Shanaya while reading but not while watching the drama. Yumna as Aska despite a bit annoying written character surpassed Sajal easily for me.

For MPHT so well I have watched that serial and in that Wahaj hardly gets screen space. The episodes are filled with areeb, his toxic family and maheers parents. Even in the latest episode Wahaj only came for five minutes. Zaviyar has most of the screen timing because of nepotism and it's clear that makers tried their best to sideline Saad and it was saved only because of Wahaj. If Wahaj wouldn't have been playing Saad but some mediocre actor was and in place of Zaviyar any good actor played Areeb, no one would have even bothered about Saad at all.

If loose shirts are in trends then I'll say I don't like this trend. They were in trends in 1980's also maybe.

There are two scenes were azfar was screaming but shehryar was bad in both those scenes. He is shown to be super angry when he lost the case and he was screaming in the office. It didn't had the impact because of his weak dialogue delivery skills.

The last drama of sajal i saw in full before kuch ankahi was alif and she was wonderful in it. Dropped ydm and got bored with sinf e ahan in the initial episodes itself. Didn't feel like watching ishq e laa at all even though I like both the ost. In sinf e ahan I get why sajal's character is annoying. She plays an army brat and the know it all kind. Those are supposed to be annoying for civilians. Her character clearly had a superiority complex at the start. Her character in general is not supposed to be that likeable. Except for the initial episodes of KA sajal has been giving really good performance in KA. Every scene of Aaliya getting emotional has been wonderfully done by sajal. Her non dialogue scenes with bilal has been acted out very well and all her scenes with bilal except the initial ones where she is hyper with him has been great. All of their terrace scenes are acted out wonderfully by sajal and Bilal. The last terrace scene of hers and the scene were her voice cracks when her father says he don't want the house back at the expense of Aaliya's happiness were very strong scenes. The way she expresses through her eyes in KA is praise worthy. I wasn't exactly a fan of sajal before KA. I just considered her to be a good actress and found her to be extremely cute. She always reminded me of Desi dolls but I wouldn't watch a drama simply because she is in it. I never even bothered to check out ishq e laa as the teasers didn't impress me even though at that time I equally liked yumna and sajal. Same with sinf e ahan. Sajal wasn't the reason for me to check out the drama. It was the overall concept of the drama.

I actually like loose shirt with 2-3 buttons down esp on guys with broad shoulders and well built physic. It's shown a lot in Turkish dramas and Korean dramas. I find it hot. 😳 bilal is pretty well built so it suits him as well.

Yeah, she dresses well, I liked her looks in YDM.

They can make a mermaid, alien, robot drama, etc without you questioning your logic.

There must be so much thought that goes behind it that it's mind blogging to me.

Our industry sadly is stuck on the same thing, saas-bahu, romance, love triangle, patriotic and gangster theme.

Rabia once said that she understands in drama there must be a conflict or misunderstanding to move the story forward and a K- drama (Romantic genre) instantly crossed my mind where without any conflict the drama was moving and it was engaging.

Kdramas definitely put a lot of effort into its making. They don't go the wishy washy way and a lot of that has to do with the audience. Korean audience prefer good content. If you see most of the highly rated kdramas that did well in Korea( not international) all will have strong storyline, very much rooted to Korean society and will have strong actors ( the entire cast and not just the leads) . It's the same with their movies. They have the perfect blend of commerical quality and class. It appeals to both mass and class audiences.

Even then over the top dramas will be funny. They don't show macho super rich men the way pak dramas show. There will be sarcasm and perfect ottness to those characters. So we know we are not supposed to take their richness and arrogance seriously.

They also are very experimental and have good dramas in basically every genre.
