I suspected it too, that there will be a reveal that it was a trick to guilt trip Anuj, but makers wanted to seriously show that she is sick by giving her the headaches and visions of MaAn taunting her.

It's super sad that so many social issues are taken up so that Anupamaa can give a bhaashan on them and are then just slipped under the rug.

It was never mental issue , it was more like something panic attacks , remember how she use to calm herself, ki maaya tum har nhi sakti

It's a clear case of maya not being mental just obsessed with anuj n being stubborn. We were never shown what kind of mental problem maya exactly had. She was just shown to be shouting n breaking things which even normal ppl do.

If she was really mental she can't get normal so easily with few words from anupama .

Makers should stop using social issues when there is no relevance of it n they have to show saas bahu n vamp drama.

If throwing things and being unreasonable and angry is sign of mental illness then so called Baa and VS should be the boss of mentally ill patient the way Baa behaved during Diwali, Dadi ki shaadi natak, badua badua and VS behaves is totally disgusting VS threatened each and every woman of his life except Pakhi, like Nandani, Dimple, Anu, kavya, Baa

I think initially story was like that only- that she’s tricking and all 3 - Maaya , V and BB were involved but it was later changed to WW Acche Pita... Can’t blame the writers alone for all this inconsistency and stupidity

Another sensitive issue like metal illness being made a joke by DKP . Disappointed but not surprised.
