Pillows and idols and Mental Health

After ripping pillows apart, Maa's new recommendation to heal mental health is to give a religious idol to a person who is clearly crazy to the point of being violent and lo behold! She is cured and will now repent her sins.

Can someone please identity where I can get that idol for myself? Will save me a lot of money I waste on my prescription medicine refils for depression.

Disclaimer: I do not mean to hurt any religious sentiments here. I totally understand that a lot of people take items of religious significance to places where they may feel nervous or need good luck like in exams or when a loved one is sick or hospitalized etc.

But this is a very unrealistic portrayal of a woman taking a 360 degree turn from a point where she was ready to murder Anupamaa, just by taking the idol in her hand.

Please don't tell me it was a cumulative process of Anupamaa's words and the idol was just a part of the process. It was clearly shown that Maaya's expression changed when she took that idol in her hand.

The idol has to be handed to you by one and only MAA, otherwise it won't work.

The government should stop wasting money and resources on building mental hospitals. All psychiatrists should resign and look for other avenues to sustain. Everybody welcome to "THE ANUPAMA THERAPY CENTRE" where even the most severe cases can also be cured through 5 panno ka bhashan. The "MAA HUN NE" supremacy 🔥🔥🔥

It's a clear case of maya not being mental just obsessed with anuj n being stubborn. We were never shown what kind of mental problem maya exactly had. She was just shown to be shouting n breaking things which even normal ppl do.

If she was really mental she can't get normal so easily with few words from anupama .

Makers should stop using social issues when there is no relevance of it n they have to show saas bahu n vamp drama.

I think she is shown as having a mental illness in previous episodes, otherwise why would she take meds and be given an injection and all?

But yes, there is no consistency in the show, one day they can't say anything to Maya because she is ill and Anuj has to take her responsibility, the next day Anuj can glare at her and shout at her and say he loves Anupama and even meet Anupama, it makes no sense. One day they treat her like she has a real illness that is beyond her control, the next day like they can push her buttons to any extent because they are fed up with her. Even today Anupama spoke to her as if it's something Maya has control over because if you are mentally ill, you don't have control over such actions, you need medical help. So I think makers themselves didn't decide whether they want to project her as mentally ill or just generally an obsessive person.

And when maya was shouting no one was calling doctor everyone was arguing with her n calling her names. Who does that to a mental patient.

Anuj was saying she is curse shouldn't it be detrimental to a mental patient . He kept on meeting anupama which was trigger point of maya. There was no attendee for Maya, how can the child n family members safety was guaranteed as she had already shown her violent behaviour.

And with anupama she understood so easily inspite of the fact that she hated anupama n wanted her dead. Mental patients can't rationalize otherwise they would not be patient itself.

They are just making fun of a serious issue. This show has crossed all limits of being disgusting.
