To remain relevant in show everyone has to either -

1) Fall at Maa’s feet/ bow down to her on knees - Nakul , Anuj ,BB, now Maaya

2) Sing Maa’s praises and declare her faultless - Anuj , Kinjal , Bapuji ,KMaa, Devika , Dheeraj , SH members depending on their mood

3) Become Anupamaa herself - Anuj , Kinjal , CA n now Pakhi

Only exception is Vanraj n Baa ( cz u know show is VanupaBaa 😛)

Poor Anuj has done all 3 , so right now he has the worst character arc 😐🤡

Anyone who doesn’t fall in this category can leave the show eg Mukku , GK Kaka , RD etc

Adding Kavya to the list in point two - one of the biggest Anupama cheerleader after Anuj - so much that Anupama is already the Badi Maa of her baby

Yaar, I saw your written update and for once decided to skim over the bhashan and watch the part where she accepts her faults so I can like her a little more and feel a little relieved but it was all of ONE line, about 10 seconds where she says "it was my fault also, I couldn't give my daughter time because I was 'batui hui in zimmedaris'. Um okay, it's a great start but can we please get some more actual realization of the extent of damage she also did to their relationship and that it wasn't just Choti who was neglected, it was also Anuj. He is still facing flak for what he did and continues to be on a guilt trip, I hope her "realisation" doesn't end with this..Hopefully, once this is all sorted, a convo between her and Anuj is shown where both discuss their mistakes and expectations in the future, it's the only way to redeem MaAn now!

And apart from the sheer ridiculousness of how Maya's mental illness was "treated" by Anupama's bhashan, why did they have to end her character like this? It's so sad, she had to get hit by a truck? Such a sad character arc, from a woman forced into prostitution who had to give up her child, fight her way out of it, helped so many other women and built a life for herself with sheer hard work and determination to someone planning and plotting to steal another woman's husband, went full psycho, suddenly became good in one episode and gets hit by a truck in the end...DKP, do whatever you want, just stop calling yourself a woman empowerment show and we won't have to bang our heads on the wall
