This happened with my grandma and grandpa till my grandpa saves them from death and my Grandmother's father finally accepted their relationship.

Sanjeev Kumar is top example of love life ruined due to controlling mom.

His mom never approved of Shabana Azmi because she was Muslim. Sanjeev was said to be in love with Shabana.
