Actually many rooms in 5-star hotels hv connecting doors. Sometimes u get such a room & someone unrelated to u in in the adjoining room. The hotel people simply lock both sides of the connecting door & u can leave it locked without any botheration. Viaan Katha can do same thing, & ignore the door. Nothing shocking about it.
