Yes and it is unclear why they stopped being friends. Jiya's fandom have their own theories but sach kya hai unhi ko pata hai. Jiya ka (unconfirmed) boyfriend ke saath breakup ho gaya. And they have tons of friends in common including Palak. And post-breakup, the boyfriend inherited all the friends, including Palak.
