Coz that's what sells. Yes, the makers target audience are regressive people with patriarchal mindset who view women as "sacrificial lamb". They are catering to an ideology which believes that a women should always remain within the fourfolds of her house, shouldn't have her own identity, shouldn't answer back to abusive husband and in laws etc. I know u will feel disgusted after reading this but it's a fact. If u carefully analyze then Anupamaa (a meek and submissive housewife) is hailed as the best while Rakhi,Kavya,Barkha (well educated, successful and ambitious) women are villanized. I can't believe that our viewers are so gullible. This show is fooling them since 2 years and they are still waiting for Anupamaa to develop a spine? Come on guys! Even If we are fortunate enough to witness this,it will be the last episode when the makers have minted enough money or are too exhausted to drag this show for another couple of years....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Her character is submissive and underconfident. She, even after so much of bhashans to others fails to follow them herself.

After divorce from vanraj makers should progress her character to be slowly gaining confidence and becoming a leader, a decision maker. But instead she has become more scared and docile.

Makers should focus on her character progression.

These writers need to stop being so confused and lost…

Anupamaa has no confidence in writers. Ek minute mein ussey gundoo sey ladtey aur protest kartey huey dikhatey hai......aur doosrey second baa ki gaaliyaan khatey aur vanraj sey manipulated hothey huey dikhatey hai. Confused AnupaMaa, she doesnt know who she is anymore

I saw a clip.. convo bw Baa and anu di where baa was saying, Mai bahot dari hui hoon. yeh lady sabki jindagi mei toofan laane waali, dari hui hai bolo.. aaj tak anupama ko kuch puccha nahi tah.. aaj yeh hilti nahi hai anu di se bina pooche
