It's not about holding high standards for murtasim. I have no issue if he gets married to anybody but haya, knowing very well that she is the reason for all the mess.. After calling her behen jaisi , mariyam jaisi him agreeing to marry her will definitely raise question on his character.

Just because meerab is meesed up doesn't mean they can justify him agreeing to marry behen jaisi haya ..

But I know all these things are heading towards mu - haya marriage and makers have successfully butchered meerab to the extent that almost all memu fans will now have no issue if he marries behdn jaisi haya ..

Yaar honestly mujhe first cousins mein marriage hi nahin samjh aati... But then it's not my religion so i can't comment on that... Bec himaare yahan toh first cousins are like khoon ki bhai behen...

Someone had commented that even in Pakistan it's not commom. Its just a trope that's widely used in tv.

But anyways i will disagree that meerab has been butchered. She has been this way since day one. Exactly the same... Tell me how they have deviated or butchered her in recent episodes.

Her character sketch is crap but she is consistent

I think she stayed because she had control over the situation as long as he didn't touch her. It was according to her will. If he did. Or she allowed it meant she just did what people forced her to do basically.

But her logic is really dumb.

Because if you watch the eps she said she was trying to accept him.

If he did rape her then it could be a point of contention she's standing up for her rights. But she makes no sense. I wish rohail kidnapped her or something that would make more sense.
