I think NM wrote an out and out feudal lord character with some romantic moments. If we see, Meerasim relationship lacked emotional bonding. It had romantic moments but no emotional bonding. I personally feel that romance without emotional bonding is incomplete.
In SH review, Aamna said that if Wahaj had not made changes to Murtasim's character people would have understood his behaviour(considering MR) and Hassan told that Wahaj made changes in the previous episodes so why didn't he change it afterwards? True. Whether it was MR/CS his conversation with Haya was unnecessary.

I guess we both are watching for different reasons. I started watching after I saw clips of their chemistry. I would not have watched if any other actors were playing the leads. I never watched nor watching for the story. If wahaj made changes or not - I had no clue before I started watching. I started watching for what I saw. I saw chemistry and I was sold.

Questioning him personally is what he added in but in the review, he was questioning why Wahaj didn’t make that change. It’s just strange to me that he would question him on something that less significant than MR which Hassan believes was in the script.He was going to the movie launch event so he said he will catch up with Wahaj and want to question if he made changes in script in initial episodes and made Murtasim a charming character then why didn't he do the same in latest episodes.
